SNEAK PEEK: A Tornado Knocks Out Faith’s Only Hope for a Kidney on ‘The Young and the Restless’

On "The Young and the Restless," Nicholas seeks Adam's help to save Faith but it looks like Adam will be the one in need of saving himself. Meanwhile, comfort is the word for some distraught Genoa City denizens. Find out what to expect and when to tune in.

Last week on “The Young and the Restless,” the Newmans learned that Adam (Mark Grossman) was the only one who could save Faith’s (Reylynn Caster) life after they found out she was in dire need of a kidney donor. Leaving himself no other choice, Faith’s father, Nicholas (Joshua Morrow), sought out the aide of his younger brother who is currently on the run. During the week of May 3 through Friday, May 7, however, it looks like Adam will be the one in need of some life-saving support after a Tornado buries the younger Newman under a mountain of rubble.

Things spin out of control when Nicholas and Adam get caught in the middle of a tornado this week on all new episodes of "The Young and the Restless."

In a newly released promo, Nicholas and Adam are in a basement. Holding a crowbar, Adam wants to know why Nicholas was there. In response, Nicholas tells him it’s about Faith. “She’s really sick and you’re the only person who can help her,” he explains. Seemingly willing to go to bat for his niece, Adam and Nicholas attempt to leave the basement only to discover there is a tornado running wild outside, a disastrous situation which Nicholas begrudgingly admits to having some experience. “Yeah, I know. It’s a tornado. I’m familiar with them,” he quips to Adam.

With the tornado running rampant above them, the two decide to stick it out in the basement until the situation can correct itself. Unfortunately, things only get worse when mother nature literally rips into the floor above them causing falling debris to run wild. Hoping to save him, Nicholas shoves Adam out of harm’s way but it turns out that wasn’t the best idea as Adam is later seen with remnants of what’s left of the ceiling laying atop his unconscious body. “Don’t you die on me now,” Nicholas yells out as he works to figure out a way to save his brother.

As for what else is happening this week on “Y&R,” on Monday, May 3 look for Devon (Bryton James) to strategize with Jack (Peter Bergman) and Nina (Tricia Cast) to comfort Abby (Melissa Ordway).

On Tuesday, May 4, Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) comforts Sharon (Sharon Case) and Faith’s condition takes a turn for the worse. By week’s end, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) will plot out her next move on Friday, May 7 just as Lily (Christel Khalil) and Billy (Jason Thompson) take a big step in their relationship.
