When “The Young and the Restless'” Hunter King (Summer Newman) hops over to “The Bold and the Beautiful” next week for a planned two-week crossover event between daytime’s most-watched soaps she’ll be joined by “Y&R” co-star Michael Mealor (Kyle Abbott), according to a newly released promo by CBS, a tweet by Mealor on Twitter and a first look clip from their appearance on “B&B.”
“An all expenses paid trip to Los Angeles courtesy of Jabot? Count. Me. In!” tweeted Mealor earlier this week, commenting on a promo package released by the network highlighting the upcoming crossover. A scene from King and Mealor’s appearance on “B&B” was released today by CBS which finds their characters fresh off their first night in Los Angeles preparing for a meeting with Wyatt Spencer (“B&B’s” Darin Brooks).

As previously reported, Summer is looking to find out all that she can on Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), who previously resided in L.A. until her arrival in Genoa City in November. There, Summer meets Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), Wyatt and Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden), among others.
The crossover event between the soaps kicks off on Tuesday, January 12 on “Y&R” and continues Monday, January 18 on “B&B.” According to the network, the story arc will play out on both soaps over the coming months.
As for what Summer finds out about Sally’s past, Hope said on Twitter, “We shall see” in response to the news of her character’s secret soon coming out.
