With a solid panel and the juiciest hot topics in daytime, ABC’ “The View” continues to outperform CBS’ “The Talk” for the season in Total Viewers, Women 18-49 and Women 25-54. The politically charged co-hosts are also enjoying their most-watched season in four years — since the 2013-2014 television season.
For the week of April 30, 2018, “The View” averaged 2.731 million viewers, 446,000 in Women 25-54 and 313,000 in Women 18-49. The series beat “The Talk” (2.306 million, 382,000 and 275,000, respectively) for the week by hefty margins and has increased its lead across the board in viewers (+197% – 425,000 vs. 143,000), Women 25-54 (+88% – 64,000 vs. 34,000) and Women 18-49 (+322% – 38,000 vs. 9,000).
Growing over the same week last year in viewers (+3% – 2.731 million vs. 2.649 million) and Women 18-49 (+1% – 313,000 vs. 311,000), “The View” is trouncing “The Talk” for the season in viewers (348,000 vs. 171,000), Women 25-54 (91,000 vs. 57,000) and Women 18-49 (62,000 vs. 55,000).
