Fans of “The Young and the Restless'” Lachlan Buchanan (Kyle Abbott) may miss seeing their favorite actor on the daytime drama series on a more consistent basis, now that he’s on recurring status with the daytime soap, but at least they’ll soon be able to see him in primetime in an upcoming episode of CBS’ “NCIS.”
“My luscious locks! All in the name of Naval accuracy 😜⚓️ #ncis #navycut #feelingthebreeze,” wrote the actor on his Twitter page yesterday, revealing that he’s booked an episode on the world’s most watched series.
In his posting, the actor shared a sneak peek of his new shorter do, as required for his character on the drama.
Buchanan joined the cast of “Y&R” in early 2015. He was bumped to recurring status in October of that year. Initial reports said the actor had been let go, which would have made him the third actor in as many years to portray Kyle Abbott on the soap opera.
