On Tuesday, October 20, “The Bold and the Beautiful” welcomed back former cast members Susan Flannery (ex-Stephanie Forrester) and Ian Buchanan (ex-James Warwick) for a visit, marking the pair’s first time at the show’s new studio, Sunset Las Palmas Studios, in Hollywood, with the duo reconnecting with former castmates and meeting some of the show’s newer faces, including Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke Logan), Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy Forrester), Alley Mills (Pam Douglas) and Jennifer Gareis (Donna Logan).
In a video shared across social media by executive producer Casey Kasprzyk, Flannery and Buchanan can be seen sitting in a golf cart waving goodbye as Kasprzyk tells them, “Bye, you guys. That is quite the parade.” In the caption, he wrote, “O.G.s back at Bold and Beautiful today.”
Several stars from the show’s past and present, as well as actors from “Beyond the Gates” and “The Young and the Restless,” commented on the post, including Michelle Stafford (Phyllis Summers, “Y&R”), Ashley Jones (Bridget Forrester, “B&B”; Heather Armstrong, “BTG”), Don Diamont (Bill Spencer, “B&B”; ex-Brad Carlton, “Y&R”), Naomi Matsuda (Li Finnegan, “B&B”), Daniel McVicar (ex-Clarke Garrison, “B&B”) and Jennifer Gareis (Donna Logan, “B&B”), who said, “Soooooo good to see them today!!!!!”
In a statement shared, Flannery commented on the visit, saying, “It’s definitely like coming home in a way, even though it’s not the same studio. It’s really lovely to see old faces and old faces with new faces. It takes you back mentally. You start remembering what it was like back then, even things like how much your feet would ache at the end of the day from wearing six-inch heels. It was just lovely to be back and see everybody.”

The show’s production designer, Lou A. Trabbie III, also posted about the visit on Instagram, stating, “What a [sic] absolute pleasure to have The Legend #susanflannery visit the show today. We Love You!” His post included a photo embracing Flannery. “Y&R” cast member Tracey Bregman, whose character, Lauren Fenmore, frequently crossed paths with Flannery’s Stephanie on the long-running half-hour soap opera, commented on the post, saying, “Omg I’m so jealous!!”
Meanwhile, Buchanan, who was joined by his husband, Antonio Hendricks, shared, “It’s a mind trip, you know. When I was sitting looking at the big Forrester set, it was like stepping back in time, almost. It takes you back mentally, and you start remembering what it was like when you were here before. It’s lovely to see all these people again, even if you don’t know everybody. There’s something really special about coming back and seeing the show and the people who have been part of it for so long.”
Buchanan also shared a photo from the set on his Instagram page, to which Trabble responded, saying, “@ian.buchanan what a beautiful photo. It was so great to reconnect after so many years and meet @antonio.hendricks1970.”

Flannery last appeared in the soap in November 2012, with her character killed off after having succumbed to stage IV metastatic lung cancer. Buchanan last appeared in an episode aired in 2017. In 2025, Flannery moved to Australia to be closer to her adopted daughter, Blaise.
