The OnLine Network has announced that Paula Garces (ex-Pilar Santos, “Guiding Light”), best known for her portrayal of Maria in the “Harold & Kumar” film franchise has joined the cast of the networks “All My Children.”
The anticipation for the online launch of “All My Children” and “One Life to Live” has been building for months, and with mere weeks left before the shows’ Monday, April 29 debut on Hulu, Hulu Plus and iTunes, it’s tough for fans to keep a lid on all of that excitement. And it’s about to get even harder to contain the joyous feelings, because several actors from both shows have given some pretty nice hints as to what you can expect once their alter egos reappear in Pine Valley and Llanview!
It’s only been a few weeks since Melissa Ordway took over for Emme Rylan as “The Young and the Restless’” Abby, and the actress already feels right at home. That’s partly because the cast has been together a lot celebrating the show’s 40th Anniversary, but it’s also because, as the actress puts it, the entire cast is just like a real family.
If you think you’re excited about the return of “One Life to Live,” which debuts on iTunes, Hulu and Hulu Plus on Monday, April 29, wait until you hear how excited these goats are! Uhhhh… Nope, that’s not a typo, folks. In The OnLine Network’s latest teaser for the sudser, goats are front and center.
Tongues started wagging when “Days of our Lives” star Greg Vaughan (Eric Brady) tweeted that Jen Lilley (ex-Maxie Jones, “General Hospital”) was the newest castmember to join the iconic show, and while the actor’s tweet was quickly pulled, the rumor spread like wildfire anyway. And it turns out, the news is true!
Soap Opera Network has learned exclusively that Susie Bedsow Horgan has decided to depart TOLN’s “One Life to Live” as Co-Head Writer. It is understood that Bedsow Horgan has opted to leave the soap for personal reasons and informed Prospect Park of her decision late last week.
Z100, New York’s #1 Hit Music Station, is giving soap fans a chance to see the premiere episodes of “All My Children” and “One Life to Live,” but only if you are a ZVIP member (register here, if you haven’t already).
The casts of “All My Children” and “One Life to Live” began their reunions (and for some introductions) on Monday, February 25, when “AMC” began filming scenes for the first time since August 2011, again on Wednesday, February 27 during the Sleepy Hollow Photo Shoot and once more on Monday, March 18 as “OLTL” stepped in front of their cameras for the first time since November 2011. Now The OnLine Network, via Hulu, has released its latest video called “We Are A Family” as the cast and crew discuss the return of the soaps in newly released footage.
