The band just released their fifth album, “Too Many Reasons,” and are hitting the stage for a special benefit concert!
With “All My Children” literally back from the dead as it gears up to re-launch on Monday, April 29 on Hulu, Hulu Plus and iTunes, Prospect Park’s The OnLine Network has announced that it has joined forces with the Agnes Nixon Playwriting Festival at Northwestern University in order to offer students a chance to hone their craft by providing them with a chance to write a future episode of the iconic soap. As the creator of both “AMC” and “One Life to Live,” Nixon is also working as a creative consultant on the reboots for Prospect Park.
Set to music by The Script (“Hall of Fame”), Prospect Park’s The OnLine Network has put online the on air national advertisement used to promote the returns of iconic soaps “All My Children” and “One Life to Live,” which both premiere Monday, April 29 on Hulu, Hulu Plus and iTunes and on FX Canada for Canadian viewers.
As “Days of our Lives’” Kristian Alfonso (Hope Brady) will tell you, she’s really done it all when it comes to soap storylines — so much so, it’s even tough for her to name a favorite! “I can’t remember all of them, but one that comes to mind very quickly is the Princess Gina storyline, when Bo and Hope were in New Orleans, the storyline when we went to London and Bo and Hope got married, but it wasn’t just about them getting married, it was about them finding the bad guy and them on an adventure and them in Miami, the prison storyline, nighttime Hope when she was basically drugging herself and not realizing it, the storylines that I’ve had that involved Billy and Chelsea,” she lists. “There are so, so many!”
Thursday, April 25 marks the beginning of Jennifer Bassey’s (ex-Marian Colby, “All My Children”) multi-episode arc on ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy.” Word of Bassey’s appearance on the popular primetime series first came to light on Sunday, March 17, when the actress tweeted, “Got a two episode role on Grey’s Anatomy. Wonderful part and i’m very excited. Start mon. the 18th. what a great show. xx :)” She later revealed on Wednesday, March 27 that her appearance on the show had been bumped to three episodes. “Hey just got a 3rd episode on Grey’s Anatomy. Yipeeee!!! What a great group of people. Kevin McKidd is directing and acting. Hes fab. :)”
ABC has announced that “All My Children’s” Vincent Irizarry (David Hayward) and Thorsten Kaye (Zach Slater) along with “One Life to Live’s” Erika Slezak (Victoria Lord) will appear on the Thursday, April 25 edition of the networks “The View.”
Hulu has released its newest video promoting the returns of “All My Children” and “One Life to Live.” The video, titled “They’re Back,” gives viewers a glimpse into how much edgier, sexier, hotter and bolder each soap now is as they get closer to their online debuts courtesy of The OnLine Network.
When you’re front and center on a soap opera day in and day out, life can be a little hectic. Just ask “The Young and the Restless’” Michael Muhney (Adam Newman), who verges on spending more time as his alter ego than he does himself! “With a character like Adam that’s always in the mix, the sheer content alone — the amount of pages that I memorize daily, with a front and center kind of character — it’s madness!” he says with a laugh. “But you adapt and you kind of get in your groove, and now I can’t believe how much this place feels like home.”
