IT HAPPENED TODAY…

“As Close as the Beat of My Heart”

Langston assures Starr that she’ll be a great mother.  After an appeal by Nora, the judge agrees to reduce Cole’s prison sentence but he’s still going to spend time behind bars.  Cole steps forward and bravely accepts his punishment.  Cole finally goes to see Starr and is overwhelmed to find her with Hope.  Cole keeps Starr in the dark about his arrest. 

Bo advises Rex to take things slow with Stacy after noticing their growing closeness.  Stacy asks Schuyler to stop trying to prove she wasn’t a donor match for Shane and just let the matter drop.  Schuyler later tells Gigi he has proof that Stacy didn’t save Shane’s life. 

Destiny convinces Matthew to play the piano at the community center concert.  Bo and Nora proudly watch Matthew play the piano for the first time since his accident. 

Jessica’s surrounded by her family and Brody at the funeral for her daughter that died.   

On the Next One Life to Live…

  • Gigi realizes Stacy’s downfall will have to wait — for now.
  • Markko stands up to his conservative father.
  • Layla catches the tension between Fish and Kyle.
