THIS WEEK ON:GUIDING LIGHT
Jeffrey isn’t too thrilled to share his home with Reva’s movie crew. Lizzie has a decision to make when Reva gives her a Mother’s Day card that includes the address for her to see Sarah. Ava wants her old job back at Spaulding. Alan gives Rafe a gift; along with strings attached. Josh takes RJ to the father/son baseball game but leaves early to confront the man he thinks Cassie is cheating on him with. Harley, however, manages to talk him out of it. During a girls day out, Blake confesses to Harley and Cassie that she has a crush on Coop; who wants Ashlee to be by his side for a book tour. Olivia once again refuses to let Rafe and Natalia have the house Gus bought for them. Cyrus, still being put at a distance with Harley finds himself being pursued by a lady at the gym.
A COP’S HONOR DISGRACED?
Harley, who is trying to work out all of Gus’s past cases, begins to wonder if someone in the department was trying to prevent him from getting the cases done. Mallet meets with Harley and tells her that she needs to focus more on taking care of herself and being with her family, rather than focusing on Gus. When he’s alone in his office, he takes a file and shreds its contents. Harley finds Jeffrey and suggests he looks into possibility of there being a crooked cop on the force. Jeffrey takes her suggestion to Mallet, who waves Harley’s assumptions off as mere nonsense. During dinner with Marina, Mallet turns her offer to come back to her place down when he decides to meet Dinah for a favor. When he arrives, he informs Dinah that Gus, during the time at the police department, was taking in favors. Mallet then asks her if she can get Doris to force Jeffrey off of the case. When Dinah meets with Doris, she presents her with two tapes of her as the Mayor of Springfield; one that shows her in a positive light and the other that is damaging. Later that day, Dinah tells Mallet that she took care of everything for him.
