  • FOX Announces Pick Up of ‘Bordertown'; Possible Replacement of ‘American Dad’?

    Back in July it was announced that FOX's "American Dad" would be moving to TBS after 10 seasons on broadcast television beginning with the 2014-15 season. The animated series will produce 15 episodes for the "very funny" cable network. Today, FOX announced that it has picked up "Dad's" possible replacement - "Bordertown," a new animated series from "Dad" co-creator Seth MacFarlane that will take a satirical look at the cultural shifts occurring throughout America as it follows the daily lives of two neighbors: Bud Buckwald and Ernesto Gonzales. The announcement was made by Kevin Reilly, Chairman of Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company.

    TBS and Twentieth Century Fox Television have announced that animated comedic series "American Dad!" will be moving to the cable network after 10 seasons on FOX. "Dad," created by Seth MacFarlane, Mike Barker and Matt Weitzman, joins the TBS primetime lineup in late 2014 with its 11th season consisting of 15 episodes. Encore episodes of each episode with air on Adult Swim after their initial airings on TBS. The 10th (and final) season on FOX premieres Sunday, September 29.

    After months of anticipation, the day has finally arrived for the returns of "All My Children" and "One Life to Live." Both soaps premiered today with brand new episodes via Hulu, Hulu Plus and iTunes. As previously reported, the two soaps have been getting some love from Hulu starting with an email campaign on Friday and a weekend trip on the Hulu bar, which highlights several recent episodes of popular series airing on Hulu. Today, Hulu gave each series their own spot on the bar with positions #1 and #2, ahead of such staples as ABC's "Revenge" and "Once Upon A Time" or FOX's "Family Guy" and "American Dad."
