    • robert

Bold and the Beautiful is total crap all i can say is i got tired of the Ridge an Brooke mess years ago i mean really how many times can they go back and forth i cant beleive this is what people watch give me General Hospital any day over cbs tired mess

  • Bexx

Congrats to Y&R and BB! Amazing performance by CBS daytime.

  • jade

Good Luck Y&R now that Michael Muhney & Billy Miller are gone. Ratings will go down hill!!

    • richalan67

      We will see.

    • Bexx

And when they were down? If I remember correctly both Billy and Muhney were still there during those times.

The Bold and The Beautiful and Y&R are by far the best soaps on TV. There’s not a single questionable thing about it. I like B&B because it’s been on fire all of these years and the new character played by Rena Sofer is absolutely love/hate-able and that’s what people want. Actually I thought that B&B ratings would be higher…I mean they are high but not enough for me….. maybe 5 millions is what the show deserves. I must say that I hate General Hospital, and I don’t know why people watch that creepy show…it’s always the same…. IN the studios all the time, police stations, hospitals, the same cafe, murders, detectives….. etc……..

Gh is the better show not boring unlike the other shows it take risks it’s been good everyday

  • emma

and now imagine ATWT and GL hitting 6 or 7 years highs, too. these ratings would be so much better than the crap that cbs put on instead. just like gh and days are drawing the best ratings in many years, too!

  • Patrick Ferrando

Great job! YR really has had a great turnaround as far as the writing goes.
    Well deserved.
And it’s the ENTIRE CAST that makes this show. It’s NEVER been about one actor.
Anyone who thinks so shouldn’t be watching this show.

I have really been impressed with the writing so far. I am not that familiar with Shelley Altman’s writing but I am with Jean P.’s. She had some great moments at ATWT from time to time. But she could burn out quickly, and her burn out periods were bad. I just hope with a good co-writer maybe that won’t happen here.

Some of the recent gain at Y&R has to be because it’s no longer airing on SOAPnet and some of those viewers have now returned to the CBS broadcast. Surprise. surprise: it was about seven and a half years ago that SOAPnet began repurposing Y&R, so no wonder the show is hitting numbers equal to that general timeframe.
