I am so proud of all the soap viewers for coming back to their respective shows… and giving the genre another chance… it let us down… but these actors deserve their jobs.. and the medium.. deserves to be here for a long time… a new soap will be great with all these actors given the opportunity to shine… they deserve it…!!! BRAVA!!!!

  • Paul

Since I only watch Days I am happy they went up again after last week’s drop well up from last year. But I must say contracts to GH and Y&R huge bumps for them I like all soaps to do well although I am a Days fan first.

    Congrats to all soaps!

Now we see what could have been achieved with other decade-long success stories like As The World Turns, Guiding Light, All My Children and One Life to Live, too, if smart investments and changes had been made instead of killing these iconic shows!

    We want our soaps back!!

  • Hugo

Great to see all the soaps do well.
The gap is getting smaller between the CBS soaps and the other 2. In the W18-49 demo, I think GH could beat Y&R and DAYS could beat B&B next season.

Good job to the four soaps and your ratings. Glad to see ratings up over last week and last year and glad to see some of you getting records for the current regimes. I hope it continues.

  • Richie

I’m a CBS’er, but great news all around! Congrats to all..

Y&R and GH went up big. It’s great to see all the soaps up big from last year.

  • DaysFanSince83

I’m glad to see DAYS holding it’s own since the conclusion of the Kristen story. I’m thoroughly enjoying the Nick murder cover-up story. And it seems like the story has caught some viewer interest as well.

  • Matt M.

Wow, the fact that all soaps gained at least 400,000-800,000 viewers compared to last year is OUTSTANDING. Absolutely amazing. All soaps are doing so well now, placement doesn’t matter (such as #1, #3, etc.), what the networks are really looking at is GROWTH. And there is oh-so much growth right here. Especially for GH. 2 years ago, the show was a dead show airing. 2 years later, it’s hitting 6-year highs and other multi-year rating highs across the board, and now the most fast-growing daytime soap opera airing. BRAVA to all soaps! :)

Damn way to go Y&R! Amazing job, even with all the naysayers.

  • luciano

best season so far for the top 4 soaps since 2007 (households) !!
