(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — “One Life to Live” Episode Recap – Monday, May 16, 2011.
IT HAPPENED TODAY…
Marty tries to make her escape through Angel Square with Liam, but bumps into Matthew and Destiny in the process. Marty takes off, leaving the kids to wonder from whence she acquired the baby. Brody staggers in with a head wound (previously delivered by Marty). Brody is too dazed by his injury to give chase to Marty, but he calls in an update to the APB, relaying that she is in possession of his son. Destiny and Matthew take Brody to the ER, where John is tending to Natalie, just coming to after being treated for the injuries sustained in her fall.
John questions Natalie about the events that led her here, but she can’t help him. The last thing Natalie remembers is being with Brody (kissing him, to be specific, but she doesn’t tell him that). Brody compares notes with John, who advises against telling Natalie that Marty has Liam – at least until the full extent of Natalie’s injuries is known. Brody opts to tell Natalie that Liam is safe and sound at home. Elsewhere, we see that Liam is in Marty’s hands in the Minuteman Motel. Marty, believing Natalie and Kelly to be dead, theorizes she now stands a real shot of having a family with John. John agrees to help Brody find Liam.
Téa and Dani wonder where Todd has disappeared to. We see that Todd has gone to visit Tomas at his jail cell. Todd tries to wheedle a confession out of Tomas. Tomas warns Todd that pursuing his prosecution has consequences for them both. Tomas implies that he has private information about secrets Todd is keeping. Todd returns to the hospital and has shocking news for Téa that he made a mistake and Tomas did not shoot him.
Matthew confronts Destiny about her distance in the wake of losing their virginity together. The two are nearly found out by Shaun. Matthew surprises Destiny when he tells her that their encounter really did mean something to him.
Nate gets to know his new housemate, Deanna. Dani walks in on Deanna and Nate in a state of undress.
