Wilson Bethel (ex-Ryder Callahan, "The Young and the Restless") continues to rack up the primetime work. The actor has been cast on ABC hit drama, "How to Get Away with Murder."
After portraying Ryder Callahan for two years on CBS' "The Young and the Restless," actor Wilson Bethel has gone on to star in The CW's now concluded southern drama "Hart of Dixie," as reformed bad boy Wade Kinsella, and he most recently appeared in ABC's summer run of "The Astronaut Wives Club." Now according to Deadline, Bethel is ready to tackle "Blood & Oil" after snagging a recurring role in the upcoming Don Johnson ("Nash Bridges") and Chace Crawford ("Gossip Girl") led drama series about a young working-class couple who move to North Dakota following the biggest oil discovery in American history.
The CW announced today that the fourth season of "Hart of Dixie" will launch on Friday, January 9 at 9:00 PM, ET, with 10 all-new episodes. The series, starring Rachel Bilson ("The O.C.") and Wilson Bethel ("The Young and the Restless"), follows a big city girl who moves to quirky BlueBell, Alabama and finds herself more at home there than anywhere she's been before.
They say good news comes in threes, but in the case of “The Young and the Restless’” Wilson Bethel (ex-Ryder Callahan), good news has come in a pair: He not only has landed a spot on ABC’s upcoming drama series, “The Astronaut Wives,” but also closed a deal with the CW to write a new drama for the network!
