Bregman (Lauren Fenmore) looked like she was on the verge of signing a contract with CBS’ “The Young and the Restless.” Bregman made it official when she tweeted a picture of herself signing on the dotted line. “It’s official! Signing my new contract with @Official_YandR on the shows 40th anniversary. #grateful #YR40,” her tweet read.
On Saturday, November 17, 2012, Gene Bua (“Somerset,” “Love of Life” and “How To Survive a Marriage”) passed away after battling Parkinson’s disease for the past 13 years according to a posting on the actor and his wife Toni’s website Bua Acting for Life. “The great Master Teacher and my hero and Lion King for 47 years, Gene Bua, passed into the Light on Sat. Nov. 17th at 1:40, after battling 13 years of Parkinson’s and yet still going on to teach, write songs, be a mighty friend, and enjoy much of his life. I am surrounded by his power, love and radiance as I walk through these coming days with as much Grace as God will allow me. Very much love to you all,” said Mrs. Bua of her husband on the website.
Soaps In Depth is reporting that CBS’ “The Bold and the Beautiful” is about to lose another “core four” member as Susan Flannery (Stephanie Forrester) has informed producers and the shows writing team that she plans to leave the series at the end of her newly signed short-term contract. Flannery, like the departing Ronn Moss (soon-to-be ex-Ridge Forrester), has been with the show since it debuted on March 23, 1987 – more than 25 years ago!
Soap Opera Network has learned that Susan Flannery (Stephanie Forrester, “The Bold and the Beautiful”) has been added to the “Young and Restless Life of William J. Bell” book signing being held today from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Barnes & Noble located at 4820 Telephone Road Ventura, CA 93003.

According to Entertainment Weekly’s Tanner Stransky, CBS’ “The Bold and the Beautiful” is about to lose 25 year veteran Ronn Moss (Ridge Forrester) after a contract dispute between the actor and the soap opera over salary hit a snag. A rep for Bell-Phillip Television, which produces “B&B,” confirmed Moss’ exit to Weekly.
