Actor Dylan Neal (ex-Dylan Shaw, "The Bold and the Beautiful") will star in the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries original movie "Gourmet Detective," based on the series of books by Peter King. Neal, who co-wrote the script along with his wife Becky Southwell, will also serve as an executive producer. The movie is set to premiere sometime this spring and is the first of three planned for the cable network.
On Friday, January 16, NBC's "Days of our Lives" will welcome actor Lucas Kerr to its cast as Clint, Theresa's (Jen Lilley) new love interest.
The CW announced today during its portion of the Television Critics Association Press Tour in Pasadena that it has given an early renewal to "Arrow," "Jane the Virgin," "Reign," "Supernatural," "The 100," "The Flash," "The Originals" and "The Vampire Diaries," all of which appeared on the network's fall 2014 schedule, for the 2015-2016 television season.
One month after announcing that 93% of its board approved the National Code of Fair Practice for Network Television Broadcasting (Network Television Code), SAG-AFTRA announced today that its members have overwhelmingly ratified the new contract with 96.5% of the members voting in favor.
On Wednesday, January 7, CBS aired the 2015 "People's Choice Awards," which saw The CW's "Jane the Virgin" and "The Flash," along with talent from the network's "The Vampire Diaries," "Supernatural," and "Beauty and the Beast," sweep much of the television categories.

CBS is kicking off 2015 with nothing but smiles on its face as the network touts in a new promo that its lineup consisting of "The Young and the Restless," "The Bold and the Beautiful," "The Price is Right," "The Talk" and "Let's Make a Deal" have helped it become daytime's most watched network for 28 consecutive years.
CBS' "The Bold and the Beautiful" will be welcoming back "Big Brother's" Zach Rance, when the former houseguest appears again on the daytime drama series sometime in early February.
"The Bold and the Beautiful's" Katherine Kelly Lang is returning to "The Bold and the Beautiful" in January 2015, and the Forrester family better watch out!
To kick off 2015 in style, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries will air all-day marathons of several programs during the month of January including "Hart to Hart," "Diagnosis Murder" and "Murder, She Wrote." The network will also air marathons of its popular original mystery movies, including Kellie Martin's "Mystery Woman" series.
Late last month we released a new layout of our website that was to allow us to present our content in manner we've been working towards for some time. Unfortunately, the design came with some issues that needed to be cleaned up. That cleanup left the site virtually silent news and interview wise. That's now over.
