Portions of ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Interrupted on the West Coast Due to CBS News Special Report

"The Bold and the Beautiful" was interrupted briefly on the West Coast due to CBS News' special coverage of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s Supreme Court confirmation hearings.

West Coast viewers expecting to watch today’s, March 21 episode of “The Bold and the Beautiful” will likely need to watch the full episode later this evening on the CBS App, CBS.com or Paramount+. CBS News broke into regular programming around 3:20 p.m. ET/12:20 p.m. PT with a special report on Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s Supreme Court confirmation hearings before the Senate Judiciary Committee, which included live coverage of Judge Jackson’s opening remarks. Coverage will continue today, March 21 and tomorrow, March 22 across all CBS News platforms and on BET.

“CBS Evening News” anchor and managing editor Norah O’Donnell is anchoring the CBS News special report. CBS News chief legal correspondent Jan Crawford, CBS News chief Washington correspondent Major Garrett, and CBS News congressional correspondent Nikole Killion will provide coverage and analysis. CBS News will offer a special report tomorrow, March 22 at approximately 9:00 a.m., ET, anchored by “CBS Mornings” co-hosts Gayle King and Tony Dokoupil.

The CBS News Streaming Network will tap into multiple live streams for continuous comprehensive coverage of the hearings. CBS News Streaming is covering the hearing today, offering updates each half-hour during the hearings, and will provide live coverage of Judge Jackson’s opening remarks.

On Tuesday, March 22, CBS News Streaming will simulcast the CBS News special report at approximately 9:00 a.m., ET, and will continue with regular, live updates throughout the day through Thursday, March 24.
