ABC has canceled "Roseanne" after series star Roseanne Barr makes racially charged comments on social media. The network called said comments "abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values."

As a result of <strong>President Barack Obama</strong> addressing the nation for his last press conference of 2015, ABC was forced to pull an original episode of "General Hospital" today, which was all but set to air until <strong>Nathan Varni</strong>, Manager, Current Series, Scripted, announced plans to pull it citing the importance of the current storyline. The episode will now air on <strong>Monday, December 21</strong> and an original episode will air on Christmas Eve (<strong>Thursday, December 24</strong>) in place of a previously scheduled encore.

While the network originally planned to air a repeat episode, as a result of the Friday, December 19 presidential address by <strong>President Barack Obama</strong>, ABC will now air an original episode of "General Hospital" on Christmas Eve, <strong>December 24</strong>.

Bell</strong>, the show's head writer and executive producer, has officially been named the U.S. Ambassador to Hungary, reports <em>ABC News</em>. Her confirmation didn't go without a hitch, however, as Senator<strong> John McCain</strong> took a strong stand against her confirmation on the Senate floor earlier today.

On today’s “LIVE with Kelly and Michael,” hosts Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan announced that they will sit down with President of the United States Barack Obama for an interview to air on Friday, May 30.

As we previously reported, “The Bold and the Beautiful” producer Colleen Bell — wife of the show’s executive producer, Bradley P. Bell — has been on track to become the next U.S. Ambassador to Hungary, and the White House announced just yesterday that President Obama has made her nomination in the role official!
