HLN, the host network of the annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy® Awards, has announced additional presenters for the awards telecast, now in its 40th year, presented live from The Beverly Hilton hotel in Los Angeles on Sunday, June 16, 8-10 p.m., ET/PT.
Although a show spokesperson did not respond to a request for comment at press time, a representative for Lindsey Morgan has informed Soap Opera Network that the actress has already appeared in her last episodes of ABC's "General Hospital."
In a message posted on her Facebook page, Lindsey Morgan has announced her departure from ABC's "General Hospital." The actress joined the cast of the series last April as the daughter of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), although she didn't begin airing as Kristina Davis until the week of May 21, 2012.

According to a report by Soap Opera Digest, ABC's "General Hospital" has let actor Erik Valdez go nearly six months after joining the cast of the drama series in the role of Trey Mitchell. The character is the son of Kate Howard (Kelly Sullivan) and the recently departed Joseph Scully, Jr. (Richard Steinmetz). The character was married to Kristina Davis (Lindsey Morgan) in August. Their marriage was annulled in mid-October.

TVLine is reporting that ABC's "General Hospital" has recast the role of Kristina Davis with daytime newcomer Lindsey Morgan. She replaces Lexi Ainsworth, who exited the soap in October as the character was sent to Yale University. According to a show representative, upon Kristina's return to the canvas, the daytime drama plans to take the character into a different direction.
