Robert S. Woods has portrayed the contract role of Bo Buchanan on ABC’s “One Life to Live” off and on for more than 30 years. Just a few months before the soap went off the air in January 2012, Woods joined several cast members in signing up for the Prospect Park version of the series, which was to pick up right where the ABC run ended mere days earlier. While things didn’t materialize the way they were supposed to back then, Woods admits he’s having fun now. “So far the scenes we’ve done are really fun. They’re like the scenes we did early on that kind of endeared the characters to people because they like to watch them have fun,” says the actor of scenes he’s shared with onscreen love interest Hillary B. Smith’s and her character Nora Buchanan.

Days of our Lives

As “Days of our Lives’” Kristian Alfonso (Hope Brady) will tell you, she’s really done it all when it comes to soap storylines — so much so, it’s even tough for her to name a favorite! “I can’t remember all of them, but one that comes to mind very quickly is the Princess Gina storyline, when Bo and Hope were in New Orleans, the storyline when we went to London and Bo and Hope got married, but it wasn’t just about them getting married, it was about them finding the bad guy and them on an adventure and them in Miami, the prison storyline, nighttime Hope when she was basically drugging herself and not realizing it, the storylines that I’ve had that involved Billy and Chelsea,” she lists. “There are so, so many!”

The Young and the Restless

When you’re front and center on a soap opera day in and day out, life can be a little hectic. Just ask “The Young and the Restless’” Michael Muhney (Adam Newman), who verges on spending more time as his alter ego than he does himself! “With a character like Adam that’s always in the mix, the sheer content alone — the amount of pages that I memorize daily, with a front and center kind of character — it’s madness!” he says with a laugh. “But you adapt and you kind of get in your groove, and now I can’t believe how much this place feels like home.”

The Young and the Restless, The Young and the Restless 40

It’s only been a few weeks since Melissa Ordway took over for Emme Rylan as “The Young and the Restless’” Abby, and the actress already feels right at home. That’s partly because the cast has been together a lot celebrating the show’s 40th Anniversary, but it’s also because, as the actress puts it, the entire cast is just like a real family.

The Young and the Restless, The Young and the Restless 40

If you think you know everything there is to know about “The Young and the Restless’” sexy star, Daniel Goddard (Cane Ashby), you’d better think again! Soap Opera Network caught up with the actor during the sudser’s 40th Anniversary Celebration, and he let us in on a few secrets — including the fact that he’s a sucker for all things wedding!

On Monday, April 1, ABC’s “General Hospital” will celebrate its 50th anniversary. While the previously planned celebratory episode will now air on Tuesday, April 2, due to a national network preemption on Wednesday, March 13, fans will not be disappointed with the returns of such “GH” legends as Rachel Ames (Audrey Hardy), Stuart Damon (Alan Quartermaine) and Chris Robinson (Rick Webber), who were all originally scheduled to appear on the Friday, March 29 episode of the soap prior to the aforementioned preemption.
