Marc Anthony Samuel confirms he’s no longer on contract at “General Hospital” following Soap Opera Network’s reporting on his status change.
Fans have long wondered when “General Hospital’s” contract cast would be a receiving a trimming, as it’s widely known that the series has quite a large group of actors that make up the Port Charles canvas, but it was anyone’s guess whose status would be changed. Soap Opera Network has learned that actors Marc Anthony Samuel (Felix DuBois), Kelly Thiebaud (Britt Westbourne) and John J. York (Mac Scorpio) have all been placed on recurring status. In the case of Thiebaud and Samuel, their status change will be reflected in the on air credits in the coming weeks. York has been listed as a recurring cast member since early October.
General Hospital has recast the role of Josslyn Jacks with newcomer Hannah Nordberg. She replaces Paige Ollivier who played the character in 2013.
Ryan Carnes is returning to “General Hospital” as Lucas Jones and now we have an airdate for when fans can expect to see him back in Port Charles.

It’s been an eventful “General Hospital” Fan Club Weekend thus far and so far we’ve learned that Laura Wright (Carly Jacks) has renewed her contract with the ABC Daytime soap as the actress tells Soap Opera Network, “I just recently signed a four year contract.” The actress joined the “GH” cast in November 2005.
In a Twitter posting just after midnight on Tuesday, December 4 (on the east coast), Maurice Benard revealed that he signed a new contract with ABC’s “General Hospital,” which will keep him in the role of Sonny Corinthos for the foreseeable future. In his posting the actor said, “I just signed my contract for ‘General Hospital.’ It makes me feel good that I’m not leaving my family.”
Arizona Diamondbacks left fielder Conor Jackson is set to appear in the Wednesday, June 3 episode of “General Hospital” as Michael’s physical therapist.
Antonio Sabato Jr. is returning to Port Charles for the first time since 1995 when he reprises the role of Jagger Cates on “General Hospital: Night Shift.”
