CBS’s fifth annual broadcast of UEFA Champions League Soccer games will once again impact the network’s daytime lineup, with games scheduled for Tuesday, April 28 and Wednesday, April 29; Tuesday, May 5 and Wednesday, May 6.

“Beyond the Gates” and “Let’s Make a Deal” will be fully preempted all four days. Meanwhile, “The Young and the Restless” and “The Bold and the Beautiful” air uninterrupted on the East Coast but are being preempted on the West Coast (Mountain and Pacific Time Zones).

The only show on the network that will air coast-to-coast without interruption is “The Price is Right,” which airs at 11:00 a.m. ET/10:00 a.m. PT.

Although the games are set to kick off at 3:00 p.m. ET/12:00 p.m. PT, CBS will air “UEFA Champions League Today,” a pregame show featuring news and highlights from the UEFA Champions League, at 2:00 p.m. ET/11:00 a.m. PT, taking the time slot usually set for original episodes of “Beyond the Gates.”

UEFA Champions League Schedule

An annual competition organized by the Union of European Football Associations, UEFA Champions League Soccer sees the top 16 clubs in the European tournament vying for the Coupe des Clubs Champions Européens (aka European Cup) trophy. Clubs competing during the upcoming preemptions include Arsenal (England), Barcelona (Spain), Paris Saint-Germain (France) and Internazionale Milano (Italy).

On Tuesday, April 28, the teams playing will be Bayern Munich vs. Paris Saint-Germain at Parc des Princes in Paris, France, with Arsenal vs. Atlético Madrid taking place on Wednesday, April 29, at Riyadh Air Metropolitano in Madrid, Spain.

The following week, it will be Arsenal vs. Atletico Madrid on Tuesday, May 5, at Emirates Stadium in Islington, North London, England. A second game, Bayern Munich vs. Paris Saint-Germain, will take place on Wednesday, May 6, at the Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany.

Viewers in markets affected by preemptions can keep up with the latest episodes of their favorite CBS daytime shows via the CBS App, CBS.com, and Paramount+, as these services will have the impacted episodes available as usual.
