On “Beyond the Gates,” while out on a double date with Vanessa (Lauren Buglioli) and Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix), Joey (Jon Lindstrom) clashes with Carlton (Robert Christopher Riley), giving the “good” doctor a piece of his mind. Meanwhile, Tomas (Alex Alegria) contemplates his future after an accusation derails his plans.
Elsewhere, Hayley (Marquita Goings) is put in a difficult position when Lynette (Dominique Madison) puts all her cards on the table. “I will blow your plan sky high,” Lynette notes to Hayley, while holding a cocktail. Jennifer Holliday guest stars.
