During the week of June 30-July 4, 2025, CBS aired amended repeats of “Beyond the Gates” and “Let’s Make a Deal.” Additionally, all daytime broadcast shows were coded as specials on Friday, July 4, due to the Independence Day holiday, each of which was excluded from the weekly and season averages.

For the week, the “Beyond the Gates” repeats averaged 1.072 million viewers, slightly below year ago repeats of former time slot occupant “The Talk” (1.072 million vs. 1.089 million), though the latter had concluded its 14th season by early-to-mid June 2024. Considering the network scheduled last-minute repeat episodes of the daytime soap opera, the reasons for which remain unknown, the show performed adequately.

The two half hours of “The Price is Right” (3.447 million / 3.965 million) and “NBC News Daily (1.118 million) were the only daytime broadcast shows to see week-to-week increases among Total Viewers, while every daytime broadcast series was down year-over-year, with the second half-hour of “The Price is Right” down the most (-249,000) followed by “The Bold and the Beautiful” (2.444 million), down -201,000 compared to the same week last year.

The rebranded “GMA3” on ABC fell to prior averages among Total Viewers with 1.217 million viewers tuning in this week after hitting a multi-week high last week. The news program was virtually on par year-over-year with the title “GMA3: What You Need to Know” (1.217 million vs. 1.228 million).

Wrap-Up

What follows is a breakdown of how the daytime broadcast shows performed during the week of June 30-July 4, 2025 among Households and Total Viewers, including a week-to-week and year-over-year performance comparison. The post has been updated with figures for Women 18-49 rating and Women 25-54 rating as of Friday, July 18, 2025.

Note*: Figures under the 2024 column for “Beyond the Gates” are compared to the performance of the former time slot occupant, “The Talk,” which aired repeats during the comparable week last year. “TODAY with Jenna & Friends” is compared with the performance of its predecessor, “TODAY with Hoda & Jenna.” Meanwhile, “GMA3” is compared with the performance of its predecessor, “GMA3: What You Need to Know.”

With the game show airing amended repeats, demos for “Let’s Make a Deal” were not reported by Nielsen, although Households and Total Viewers were available. The show also aired amended repeats during the same week last year.
