During the week of November 13-17, 2023, the most current week in which daytime broadcast ratings were available at press time, CBS’ “The Talk” hit a new season high among Total Viewers, averaging 1.373 million viewers, according to Live+Same Day figures released by Nielsen. The show was up +22,000 viewers compared to the previous week.

For the week, “The Talk” tied ABC’s “GMA3: What You Need to Know” among viewers to rank 11th among all 13 daytime broadcast shows tracked by Nielsen. So far this season, “The Talk” ranks as the third most-watched daytime talk show across broadcast and syndicated television programming, only behind number one “The View” on ABC and number two ranked syndicated talker “Live with Kelly and Mark.”

Among Women 18-49, “The Talk” tied its season high with a 0.20 rating, while in Women 25-54, the show averaged a 0.27 rating, marking its second-best performance this season in the demographic. The show beat “GMA3” and “NBC News Daily” in both ratings categories. In fact, “The Talk” averaged 130,000 viewers among Women 18-49 compared to 102,000 for “GMA3” and 87,000 for “NBC News Daily.” Among Women 25-54 Viewers, “The Talk” averaged 165,000 compared with 153,000 for “GMA3” and 138,000 for “NBC News Daily.”

The Monday, November 13 telecast of “The Talk”  was the show’s most-watched single episode for the week, with 1.42 million viewers tuning in, and featured CBS News contributor Lisa Ling as a guest to discuss “Psychedelic Renaissance,” her three-part series that was to be shown on “CBS Mornings.” The episode was also the show’s most-watched overall since the Tuesday, May 2 telecast, which featured actress Patricia Clarkson and actor Cristo Fernandez.

“The Talk” is hosted by Akbar Gbajabiamila, Amanda Kloots, Natalie Morales, Jerry O’Connell and Sheryl Underwood.

Starting with Season 14, Rob Crabbe took over as executive producer/showrunner. He served in a similar capacity while at “The Late Late Show with James Corden” which ended its eight-season run in April.

Ed Horwitz and Ianthe Jones are co-executive producers for “The Talk.”
