Mark Consuelos may have made his official co-host debut on the Monday, April 17 episode of “Live with Kelly and Mark,” but the soap alum has been a part of the “Live” legacy for more than 27 years, dating back to his 1996 appearance on “Live with Regis and Kathie Lee” to promote his role as Mateo Santos on “All My Children.”
To celebrate Mark joining his real-life wife, Kelly Ripa, every morning on America’s highest-rated daytime talk show, producers put together a special reel looking back at his time appearing as a guest on “Live with Regis and Kathie Lee,” both by himself and alongside Ripa before she took over as co-host of “Live with Regis and Kelly,” and his numerous guest hosting appearances from that era of the show towards its most recent iterations as “Live with Kelly” and “Live with Kelly and Ryan.”
In addition, during the host walkout and first conversation between the co-hosts, Mark stated, “Hayley and Mateo Forever,” referencing the popular pairing played by the duo on “All My Children.” Also, psychic Char Margolis appeared and reacted to a clip of her predicting Kelly’s pregnancy back in 2000. She then revealed what she sees for the show’s future and gave Mark his personal reading.
