‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ and ‘The Young and the Restless’ Return to Monte Carlo for TV Festival

Cast members from "The Bold and the Beautiful" and "The Young and the Restless" will be heading back to Monaco for the annual Monte-Carlo Television Festival.

American soaps “The Bold and the Beautiful” and “The Young and the Restless” will be returning to Monte Carlo in June for the 61st Edition of the Monte-Carlo Television Festival, the organization behind the Golden Nymph Awards announced today at the Brach Hotel in Paris. The event will take place beginning Friday, June 17 with the Opening Ceremony and concluding Tuesday, June 21 with the presentation of the Golden Nymph Awards.

Cast members from “B&B” will be on hand to celebrate the iconic show’s 35th anniversary with a special and exclusive screening followed by a signing session. The screening will take place on Sunday, June 19 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the Salle Camille Blanc, Grimaldi Forum. Meanwhile, Melissa Ordway and Jason Thompson from “The Young and the Restless” will also be on hand for a “meet up” session. The two portray Abby Newman and Billy Abbott, respectively, on the soap.

On Saturday, June 18 from 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., there will be a one-hour panel discussing Soap & Telenovelas: Building a Success Story Across Decades which will take place at the Grimaldi Forum as showrunners, producers and executives discuss how they are collectively shaping the future of production and creativity. Other panels taking place during the festival include Scripted Formats; the Unscripted Production Boom; International Co-Production; New Formats and Fan Engagement with OTT and The Shift Towards Sustainable Production.
