“The Young and the Restless” alum Peter Porte (ex-Ricky Williams) has joined the cast of “Days of our Lives: Beyond Salem,” the five-episode limited series spinoff of “Days of our Lives” which is set to debut Monday, September 6 on Peacock.
According to Deadline, which first reported the news, Porte will portray the recurring role of Kyle Graham, an ISA agent who has close ties with Lisa Rinna’s Billie Reed as she crosses the globe in search of a missing treasure.
The cast also includes Deidre Hall as Dr. Marlena Evans, Drake Hogestyn as John Black, Jackée Harry as Paulina Price, James Reynolds as Abe Carver, Victoria Konefal as Ciara Brady, Robert Scott Wilson as Ben Weston, Billy Flynn as Chad DiMera, Lamon Archey as Eli Grant and Sal Stowers as Lani Price. Eileen Davidson is also set to appear although her role has not been announced. Other featured players include Thaao Penghlis as Tony DiMera, Leann Hunley as Anna DiMera, Christie Clark as Carrie Brady, Austin Peck as Austin Reed, Greg Rikaart as Leo Stark, Chandler Massey as Will Horton, and Zachary Atticus Tinker as Sonny Kiriakis, who all join the hunt of stolen gems.
In addition to his soap background, Porte has made a name for himself as one of Hallmark Channel’s go-to leading men in their lineup of feel-good and heartwarming original movies. He most recently starred in “Cherished Memories: A Gift to Remember 2” for the network. He most recently starred in the Andie MacDowell and Juan Pablo di Pace movie “Dashing In December” for Paramount Network and “Dead in the Water” for Lifetime. He also had a recurring role on the ABC Family/Freeform series “Baby Daddy” from 2014-2017.
