When Michelle Stafford shared a photo of herself on Instagram late last month with mascara running down her face with the post’s caption saying, “You should see the other guy…,” we had been waiting with bated breath to find out what she meant, especially as Courtney Hope commented on Stafford’s post, saying, “I beg to differ.” Turns out it was worth the wait as we see in the latest promo for “The Young and the Restless” when Phyllis Summers (Stafford) and Sally Spectra (Hope) get ready to throw down at the Phoneix Hotel.

In the promo, Phyllis asks Sally, “What is it going to take for you to realize that you are not welcome here?” If the question wasn’t clear enough, she then tells Sally outright to leave. “Take your circus act somewhere else,” she says. In response, Sally tells her to “Go to Hell, Bitch!” before throwing a glass of water in Phyllis’ face. Phyllis being Phyllis, of course, one-ups Sally by taking a bucket of ice water and lets it spill all over Sally’s head. All the while, stunned members of Genoa City’s high society – Victor, Nikki, Nate, Jack, Adam, and Lily – look on in disbelief before only Adam (Mark Grossman) and Jack (Peter Bergman) get up to separate the two before things get even worse.

The promo ends with Sally screaming as a mix of ice and water drips off her body and saying to Adam, “Hey, Phyllis started it!” In response, Phyllis yells, “Get out of here” as Jack tries to hold her back.

Outside of Phyllis and Sally’s drama, look for Mariah (Camryn Grimes) to reunite with Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) after being held in captivity by Stitch (Sean Carrigan), and Victor (Eric Braeden) to be skeptical of Billy’s (Jason Thompson) intentions. Meanwhile, on Tuesday, August 31, Elena (Brytni Sarpy) considers a new professional opportunity, and Lily (Christel Khalil) finds herself at a standoff with Victoria (Amelia Heinle). On Thursday, September 2, Amanda (Mishael Morgan) and Devon (Bryton James) trade secrets, and Billy is caught in a compromising position. On Friday, September 3, Mariah is haunted by her past.
