On today’s, July 22 episode of “The Young and the Restless,” the soap welcomes country music group Tigirlily to Genoa City.
In the story, Moses (Jacob Aaron Gaines) plans a surprise for Faith (Reylynn Caster) when he brokers an opportunity for her to meet her favorite country music artists at Crimson Lights. Enter Tigirlily, the country music group comprised of real-life sisters Kendra Slaubaugh and Krista Slaubaugh.
“Tune into ‘The Young and the Restless’ to see these two gals make their soap opera debut!!!” read a message on the group’s Instagram page.
Releasing their self-titled debut album earlier this month, the sisters reportedly came up with their group name from the “Tiger Lily” flower that was growing in the garden of their childhood home in North Dakota.
