An all-new season of “The Rich and the Ruthless” is coming in 2021, it was recently announced by series creator Victoria Rowell (ex-Drucilla Winters, “The Young and the Restless”).

Loosely based on her novels “Secrets of a Soap Opera Diva” and “The Young and the Ruthless,” the series is a behind-the-scenes send-up of what happens when the cameras aren’t rolling when a struggling soap opera is forced to move production from Los Angeles to Montego Bay, Jamaica.

“Get ready for Season 4 of ‘The Rich and the Ruthless’ coming in 2021,” shared Rowell who not only stars and executive produces the series but also serves as writer and director.

Winner of two consecutive Indie Series Awards for Best Ensemble (Comedy), “The Rich and the Ruthless” also stars Richard Brooks (“Being Mary Jane”), Robert Ri’chard (“Meet the Browns,” “One on One”), Elizabeth J. Carlisle (“The Rookie”), Brenda Epperson (ex-Ashley Abbott, “Y&R”) and Mykel Shannon Jenkins (ex-Detective Charlie Baker, “The Bold and the Beautiful”), among a host of others.
