Another former daytime star has joined the cast of “Devious Maids.” Sean Blakemore, remembered as Shawn Butler on “General Hospital” has boarded the Season 4 cast of the Lifetime series.

Rebecca Wisocky (Evelyn) posted a picture of herself and Blakemore on the “DM” set on Twitter, along with the message, “Welcome to #DeviousMaids S4 sweet @SBlakemoreActor. Start preparing your crush now.”

Blakemore first appeared on “GH” in 2011 as a former U.S. Marine suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. He eventually became Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) “enforcer,” after Jason (then Steve Burton) was presumed dead. He exited the soap in May 2015, after his character pleaded guilty to shooting Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) and was sent to prison. Before leaving, Shawn learned that he was TJ’s (Tequan Richmond) biological father.

Blakemore is one of several soap stars to appear on “Devious Maids,” which has become a who’s who of daytime alumni. In addition to series stars Susan Lucci (ex-Erica Kane, “All My Children”) and Grant Show (ex-Rick Hyde, “Ryan’s Hope”), the show has also featured Matt Cedeno (ex-Brandon Walker “Days of our Lives), Brianna Brown (ex-Lisa Niles, “General Hospital”), Nathan Owens (ex-Cameron Davis, “Days of Our Lives”) and more.
