Jessica Collins is not only celebrating her final pre-nomination for her portrayal of Avery Bailey Clark on “The Young and the Restless,” but she’s foremost enjoying the birth of her new daughter.
Collins announced on her Instagram page that she has given birth to a baby girl, Jemma Kate Collins Cooney, on January 23 with Michael Cooney.
“Over the moon to finally share with you my greatest role: #Mommy Michael Cooney and I proudly present 💗Jemma Kate Collins Cooney💗 Born 1/23/16 #HappiestDayOfMyLife,” wrote Collins.
On Wednesday, January 27, Collins received a pre-nomination in the category of Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her role on the CBS Daytime soap.
In addition to her role on “Y&R,” Collins has starred in such shows as “Loving” and “Tru Calling.” She’s appeared in such series as “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” “Everwood,” “Nip/Tuck” and “NCIS,” among others.
