Actor Matthew Ashford is heading back to the set of NBC’s “Days of our Lives” this week, more than three years since his character, Jack Deveraux, perished after saving his daughter, Abigail (Kate Mansi), from a devastating elevator crash during the much hyped August 2012 DAYSaster.
First reported by TVInsider.com, Ashford’s return is currently only set for a five-episode arc, which seemingly leaves little room for a reunion between Jack and his family.
Ashford’s episodes are set to air sometime in the Spring due to the series being at least six-months ahead.
