Taylor reports that Tabit was having pins removed from her leg and was told by doctors she couldn’t make the trip to Ohio for today’s hearing as a result. However, Taylor says that a letter from Tabit may have helped Smith receive a much lighter jail sentence than the 24 months he had been facing.
