Genoa City is about to become one of the hottest towns in soap operas: Former “General Hospital” star Kelly Sullivan (ex-Kate Howard, ex-Connie Falconeri) has joined “The Young and the Restless!”
The Washington native will be playing a character named Sage who is described as “intelligent, competent, discreet, and reserved. However, that reserve masks a well of passion and fire beneath the surface. She’ll do anything for those she loves.”
“I’m incredibly honored and flattered to even be considered to be part of the ‘Young and Restless’ family,” she told Soap Opera Digest, who originally reported the news. “I’m also thrilled to be working with [executive producer] Jill Farren Phelps again like we did on ‘GH.’”
The role is reportedly recurring, with Sullivan first taping on Wednesday, September 24 for a first airdate of Tuesday, October 28.
