Ratings Report for the Week of July 14-18, 2014
Co-creator of “American Horror Story: Freak Show,” Ryan Murphy, shared some very exciting news today: “All My Children” alum Finn Wittrock (Damon Miller) is the newest cast member to join the show!
When news first hit that the controversial novel “50 Shades of Grey” was going to be made into a movie, rumors within the daytime community started spreading: “Days of our Lives’” James Scott (EJ DiMera) was reportedly being considered for the lead role of Christian Grey, a handsome yet tormented billionaire who lures a young woman named Anastasia (Dakota Johnson) into his dark world of sexual fantasies.
Rumors continue circulating over Lisa Rinna joining the cast of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” and now comes word Eileen Davidson has also signed on.
Daytime fans haven’t seen the face of Keith Hamilton Cobb in quite some time: Since starring as “All My Children’s” Noah Keefer from 1995-1996 and later as “The Young and the Restless’” Damon Porter from 2003-2005, we’ve hardly heard a word — but now he’s back with an all-new theater show!
Lay out the red carpet: “Criminal Minds” star Shemar Moore will be returning to “The Young and the Restless’” Genoa City as Malcolm Winters this fall!
Ambyr Childers got her fair share of drama as “All My Children’s” Colby Chandler — a role she played from mid-2006 to mid-2008 — but her latest role casts a shadow over anything that went down in Pine Valley: The Arizona native has been cast in NBC’s upcoming series, “Aquarius,” which follows LA Police Sergeant Sam Hodiak (David Duchovny) as he tries to track and catch infamous killer Charles Manson (Gethin Anthony).
Miss seeing former soap star Jeff Branson on the screen? You’re in luck! The actor, who has portrayed “The Young and the Restless’” Ronan Malloy, “All My Children’s” Jonathan Lavery and “Guiding Light’s” Shayne Lewis, will be appearing on tonight’s episode of TNT’s “Perception!”
Most of the population seems to love former “General Hospital” star John Stamos (Ex-Blackie), but perhaps not quite as much as “The Talk’s” co-host Sheryl Underwood. The actor, who’s also known as Uncle Jesse from the 1980s sitcom “Full House,” will be appearing on the Friday, July 25 episode of the talk show, and co-host Julie Chen surprised Underwood with the news during a recent taping of a promo shot. Check out her hilarious reaction here, and don’t forget to catch Stamos’ appearance this Friday!
“Days of our Lives’” Casey Moss (JJ Deveraux) is taking a page out of “Rock of Ages” and hitting the stage on Los Angeles’ famed Sunset Strip!
