“The Young and the Restless’” Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea Newman) may be busy creating drama in Genoa City and preparing for her upcoming real life nuptials to fiancé Matt Katrosar, but she’s still managing to squeeze in time to meet fans and simultaneously save sick animals!
The actress has partnered with Charitybuzz for an auction that includes lunch in Los Angeles or a Skype session with the highest bidder. And if that isn’t fabulous enough, the proceeds from the auction will benefit The Riedel & Cody Fund, which is an organization supported by Egan that gives money to families who cannot afford treatment for their pets afflicted with cancer.
