‘AMC’s Jill Larson to Fans: ‘We’re All Very Excited About the Possibilities’

Soap Opera Socialite Productions posted a video on their YouTube page from “All My Children’s” Jill Larson (Opal Cortlandt), who shared her excitement in returning to the world of Pine Valley after nearly a two year absence. “We’re all very excited about the possibilites that await all of us, and getting together again and dusting off our old beloved characters and telling new stories that Agnes has been dreaming up since we’ve been off the air,” said the actress.

As previously reported, “All My Children” will return to production next month with an expected first airdate set for April (exact date TBD). The show, along with “One Life to Live,” will begin airing exclusively via Hulu.

On Sunday, June 16, during “The 40th Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards,” NBC's "Days of our Lives" won its first Outstanding Drama Series Emmy Award in 35 years. The last time the show won in this category was in 1978! In addition to the drama series Emmy, "DAYS" also won for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series (Chandler Massey as "Will Horton"), Outstanding Live & Direct to Tape Sound Mixing for a Drama Series (Zoli Osaze, Re-recording Mixer; Roger Cortes, Production Mixer; Jacqueline Frazier, Hector Sarabia, Harry Young, Boom Operators) and Outstanding Stunt Coordination for a Drama Series (Terry James, Stunt Coordinator).
