(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — According to SOAPnet.com, Dina Manzo, from the popular Bravo series “The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” was seen visiting the “One Life to Live” set late last week.

An interior decorator, Manzo is one of the stars of the hit cable reality show, and was reportedly visiting “OLTL” because “she’s friendly with someone who works there,” according to SOAPnet. It appears however, that the actress was not auditioning for a role with the soap nor was she filming a cameo. Although SON will keep you posted should anything develop.

In other news…

Kassie DePaiva (Blair Manning) reminds fans via Twitter that her character will be singing on Wednesday, July 1st. “Tune in July 1st as Blair takes the stage again at Capricorn to sing ‘Untangled.’ The song was written by my Good friend Jaime Klye. And if you like what you hear….. Let ABC know. Thanks, Kassie” And just today, she posted this reminder: Remember Blair and I will be singing tomorrow on ‘One Life To Live.’ Make sure you watch.”

Chris Stack, who recently departed Llanview with his loving on-screen wife Kathy Brier (Marcie McBain) briefly returns to “OLTL” as Dr. Michael McBain for a handful of episodes beginning Monday, July 13th. Fans may recall that upon his departure from the show earlier this month, the actor gave an interview to Soap Opera Digest, stating that he had fimed some additional scenes involving Shane’s bone marrow transplant, and Stacy, Rex, and Gigi’s storyline. However, the true nature of Michael’s involvement this go around may not be what you think.

Has “One Life to Live” offered longtime vet Robin Strasser (Dorian Cramer Lord) a lump sum of money instead of a new contract with the long-running daytime drama? While no official announcement has been made, some sources have picked up on it. So, you can take that for what it’s worth.

In keeping up with audition script news, viewers may recall that some time back (May 9th to be exact) the show released a casting call for the role of ‘Chad,’ who appeared to be a professional athlete hired by a Llanview mother to teach her little boy how to swim. Well, we can now give you more details about the role. While “One Life” is keeping mum on the identity of the actor hired to portray the dayplayer role, the well-built swim teacher will be hired by Blair to teach little Sam how to swim. However, Ms. Cramer has another agenda in mind when she flirts with the swim god to make Todd jealous and get back at her ex-husband for for flaunting his realationship with Téa in her face. Look for these scenes to air on Monday, July 13th.

Staying on topic, “One Life to Live” released a new audition script today, for the roerole of Phylicia Evans (mother to Shaun, Destiny, and Greg). Remember that the show attempts to throw off fans by changing character names and details in these scripts. The scene opens with Phylicia asking ‘Lisa’ (really Rachel) if she was with ‘Chris’ (really Shaun) when the incident happened. Lisa says no, but her mother, the DA, told her what happened, and that her mother’s ex-husband is the police commissioner. Mrs. Evans says that, according to the newspaper report, Chris was trying to prevent someone from kidnapping the Davis girl and her baby (possibly Starr and Hope). Lisa replies that even after Chris was shot, he still refused to give up trying to help them. Phylicia responds that people have always told her and her husband that they must be so proud of Bobby (Greg) for all his accomplishments, and how Chris always stayed out of the limelight and never tried to draw any attention to himself. She goes on to say Chris risks his life everyday doing what he does, and that no one (including herself) truly appreciates that until something terrible happens. Lisa asks Mrs. Evans if she needs anything, to which the elder lady replies that they are fine. Furthermore, she tells Lisa that she is even nicer and more beautiful then her son said she was. As the scene draws to a close Lisa, surprised says “Chris — he talked about me?” Prompting Mrs. Evans to say yes, and that she is the first girl that he has been serious about in quite some time.

And finally, according to TVGuide Canada’s ‘The Suds Report,’ the “OLTL” studios have gone dark this week because the show is far ahead of schedule in terms of taping episodes, that they are taking a little break.

“One Life to Live” airs Weekdays on ABC. Weeknights on SOAPnet. Check local listings.
