THIS WEEK ON:AS THE WORLDS TURNS
Casey wants to announce to everyone that is is in love with Emily, but she balks at the idea. She later tells him the truth about her prostitution past and is surprised when he tells her he loves her for who she is now, not who she was in the past. Chris disrupts Margo and Tom’s anniversary party by showing up drunk. He admits all to Kim about lying on the stand; then later tells Alison he’s quitting at the hospital. Carly, at home, is unable to shake the memories of her night with Holden. When Holden returns home, he immediately dives into a ‘romance’ with Lily. Lily taking it as a positive sign asks Holden to move back in with her. When Holden sees Carly, he tells her that they need to tell Lily the truth; but Carly tells him that they need to keep what they did a secret.
Luke interviews Cyndi Lauper who is there to perform at the Gay Rights Benefit, but loses his train of thought when he sees Noah walking in with Tony. Luke tells his story of how they met and fell in love. Noah, on the other hand regrets being with Tony. Later Cyndi sings “True Colors” just as Noah is walking back into Yo’s Noah approaches Luke and the two head outside. Noah admits that he loves Luke and the two share a kiss.
PAUL FINDS HIMSELF IN A ‘DEADLY’ JAM
Paul, still stunned by the news of Sophie being pregnant goes to Barbara and spills all. Barbara tells Paul that the girl is a liar and will not believe it for one minute. Paul meets up with Sophie and presses her into getting a sonogram. While there, Sophie is hit with the news that there is no way Paul could be the father of her baby. She quickly demands that Cole meet her at the hospital to switch the sonogram. Paul returns to the hospital and Sophie proudly shows him their ‘baby’. Barbara suggests that Paul quickly marry Meg and leave her out of the fact that Sophie is pregnant. When Paul hesitates, Barbara takes over and tells Meg that her health has taken another turn for the worse, suggesting she and Paul marry before she dies. Meg instantly agrees and make plans to go to Vegas. Cole pays Sophie a visit and tells her hand over some serious money or he will tell everyone about what he did for her. When he leaves, Barbara soon shows up and threatens that she’ll fix her permanantly if she doesn’t stay away from Paul. A scared Sophie runs into Mike. He upsets her even more with the news about Meg and Paul’s quicky wedding. Sophie blurts out the news about the baby and runs off. Mike soon tells Meg about Sophie and she storms over to the Lakeview to confront the girl. Meg and she get into an arugment until Sophie shows the doctored sonogram. Paul who is in search of Meg finds a breathless Barbara instead. Later, when Paul arrives at Sophie’s he’s shocked to find her sprawled on the floor with a syringe near her. When he asks who did this to her, Sophie mutters Meg’s name before she dies. Afraid for Meg, Paul immediately begins to get rid of all evidence in the hotel room.
