“Days of our Lives” Charles Shaughnessy (Shane Donovan) has been a busy bee as of late! Not only is the former “The Nanny” actor popping up in Salem beginning Monday, November 18, he’s also appearing in an episode of the Christian LeBlanc (Michael Baldwin, “The Young and the Restless”) produced Nickelodeon children’s show, “Deadtime Stories!”
“I think it’s so terrific,” Shaughnessy says of the series, which stars “Wizards of Waverly Place’s” Jennifer Stone as a babysitter who shares her collection of frightful tales with the children she watches each week. “If I was a kid and enjoyed being scared, I’d certainly watch it. There’s nothing like it. Goosebumps is off the air, and it kind of takes the place.”
If you think the current story that “The Young and the Restless’” Christian LeBlanc (Michael Baldwin) is involved in is horrifying, you haven’t seen anything yet! The actor has been busy producing “Deadtime Stories,” a scary series for Nickelodeon starring himself and “The Bold and the Beautiful’s” Ashley Jones (Bridget Forrester; ex-Megan Dennison, “Y&R”)!
Warner Bros. Pictures and Dark Castle Entertainment has released the first teaser trailer for “Getaway,” starring Ethan Hawke (“Training Day”) and Selena Gomez (“Wizards of Waverly Place”), which finds former race car driver Brent Magna (Hawke) pitted against the clock to save his recently kidnapped wife Leanne (Rebecca Budig, ex-Greenlee Smythe, “All My Children”). Brent commandeers a custom Shelby Cobra Mustang, taking it and its unwitting owner (Selena Gomez) on a high-speed race against time, at the command of the mysterious villain holding his wife hostage.
The film also stars Jon Voight (“24″) and Paul Freeman (“Falcon Crest”).
