With just one month left before the premiere of Lifetime’s “Devious Maids,” the cable network has released key art material highlighting Ana Ortiz (“Ugly Betty”), Dania Ramirez (“Entourage”), Roselyn Sanchez (“Without a Trace”), Edy Ganem (“Livin’ Loud”) and Judy Reyes(“Scrubs”) as five ambitious maids who, while working for the rich and famous in Beverly Hills, dream of wealthy lives of their own. Sadly, murder is at the center of their world as one of their fellow maids is murdered and the quintet makes it their mission to find out who committed the heinous crime.

“Maids” also stars Susan Lucci (ex-Erica Kane, “All My Children”), Matt Cedeno (ex-Brandon Walker, “Days of our Lives”) and Brianna Brown (ex-Lisa Niles, “General Hospital”). Look for the series to premiere Sunday, June 23 at 10:00 PM ET on Lifetime.

Sunday, June 23 can’t come fast enough, because that’s when “All My Children” fans are going to go gaga over Susan Lucci‘s (ex-Erica Kane) debut as Genevieve Delatour on Lifetime’s “Devious Maids”! The dramady, which was dreamed up by “Desperate Housewives” creator, Marc Cherry, and is executive produced by “Housewives” star Eva Longoria (ex-Isabella Williams, “The Young and the Restless”), is already making waves as a can’t-miss hit. And luckily, Entertainment Tonight has released a first look at the maids who will no doubt be causing La Lucci loads of trouble!

Say what you will about “Days of our Lives’” Nancy Wesley, but she is definitely a character fans just love to hate. The same can’t be said of her portrayer, Patrika Darbo, who is loved, loved, loved all around for her humor, candidness and ability to play one of daytime’s baddest bitches!

“It is the best character to play,” raves Darbo of Chloe Lane’s mom, a role she originated back in 1998. “Every day, I thank goodness [for] the fact that I get to play this role that they created for me, and that they have kept her coming back.”

Well wait no longer: The full cast, synopsis and premiere date for the Lifetime series has officially been released!

Premiering Sunday, June 23, on Lifetime, the drama series follows Ana Ortiz (“Ugly Betty”), Dania Ramirez (“Entourage”), Roselyn Sanchez (“Without a Trace”), Edy Ganem (“Livin’ Loud”) and Judy Reyes (“Scrubs”) as five ambitious maids who, while working for the rich and famous in Beverly Hills (including Lucci as Genevieve Delatour), dream of wealthy lives of their own. This makes for one heck of an upstairs-downstairs scenario, which is complicated by murder and mayhem — just like on “Desperate Housewives,” and just like on daytime soaps!

Deadline is reporting that former “Days of our Lives” star Matt Cedeno (ex-Brandon Walker) has landed a recurring role on Lifetime’s “Devious Maids,” which stars Susan Lucci (“All My Children“), Ana Ortiz (“Ugly Betty“), Roselyn Sanchez (“Without a Trace“), Grant Show (“Melrose Place”) and Brianna Brown (“General Hospital”). Cedeno is said to be featured in the tweaked pilot, which was originally conceived as a possible series for ABC during last seasons development cycle, and will likely be upped to series regular if the show is picked up by Lifetime for a second season. Cedeno will play the role of Alejandro Reyes, “a successful recording artist. Back home after three long months on tour, Alejandro wants to lounge by the pool – while behind his back, Odessa and the new maid Carmen are maneuvering themselves for Total War.”
