  • Pete Ra

    Yikes, everyone slid drastically!

  • Paul

People just don’t like soaps anymore we have to accept that fans are tuning out they getting worse every year.

    • padange

Those trends are universal for all the shows (prime time included). And there’s a lot of delayed vieving.

    • Lana

GH is especially terrible. As a young woman in her early 20s there’s nothing on that show to hold my attention. Not the storylines, not the characters, not the actors.

    • truth

Above all these soaps suck right now and when there are dynamic characters, complex/dynamic relationships they tend to destroy it because it is too hard for them to write..i miss Guiding Light from early 90’s : that was good writing for the most part and good soap. Nancy Curlee was a good writer and she said herself in her last interviews..nowadays she would write for prime time..no daytime soaps anymore..

  • padange

“NOTE: There were pre-emptions on January 8 due to Donald Trump’s press conference.”

The date must be wrong. Maybe Jan.11th?

    • TV&MovieBuff

January 8th was on a Sunday. I think there were preemptions on the 6th that effected some of the soaps due to a press conference. But that was on the last ratings. Some of them didn’t count their Friday due to it.

    • AvalancheDog

Yeah, that’s definitely wrong. Obama had at least two press conferences during the day this year. His final one was January 18 – not 8th. And I know it wiped out B&B in my timezone that day.

  • FoxyRoxyy

Way to save Y&R, Mal & Sally! The writing is so boring. No wonder viewers are tuning out. Look at those year to year losses. Wow.

    • robert

      it’s bad

    • Truth Police

You say the same thing week after week..Instead of complaining you should consider watching something else, reading a book or going for a walk.

      • FoxyRoxyy

Along with the other 583,000 people who have stopped watching in the last year. Read it and weep. Ratings are WAY way way down.

        • Truth Police

You seem to spend a lot of time praising the setbacks of a tv program you watch every single day. Pratt is never coming back. You blame others but he has a history of bringing soaps to new highs, followed by new lows that lead to eventual cancellation. Keep cheering.

          • FoxyRoxyy

I never said that I want Pratt back and I never said I watch every single day. What I have said is that Y&R is WAY down in viewership. Sally’s dull storylines are causing viewers to stop watching. She’ll get the show cancelled at this rate. They can’t continue to lose 600,000 viewers every year.

          • TruthSquad

Let’s see what she has planned for sweeps. If the numbers aren’t up after that I am sure you will be vindicated but she has been writing for just 5 weeks. Give it a chance.

          • Richie

A while back I started ignoring all posts written by the above (FR). They always write, week in, week out, about how boring Y&R is, how bad the EP, HWs, & storyline are etc. I replied to this person, nothing was more boring than their constant, repetitive weekly posts, also saying to stop watching (if they REALLY do watch) Y&R. Anyway, hopefully in another 3-6 months all of Pratts’ stories will have been dissolved & absorbed by Sally & Kays’ work. Be patient everyone, I’ve been watching Y&R since the mid 70s, about the time Kathryn attended her own funeral, those good old days are really gone forever. Support all our soaps.

          • TruthSquad

Thanks Richie. I agree completely. Everyone needs to give Sally and Kay a chance. It has only been just over a month.

  • James

This article is completely misleading…Days is up in demos and from Mon to Fr those numbers look more solid than Iast year.

    • cab

      Thank you.

    • JayTN

What about the title is misleading? All four dramas are down week-to-week and year-to-year in total viewers. That is reflected in the headline. I don’t see any attempt to mislead, as the title made no mention of demo ratings performances.

      • James

        wrong

        • JayTN

…says the person whose argument holds no weight. You still have not said why the title is misleading. You’re just complaining that whoever wrote the title didn’t ask your opinion before posting it. Get over yourself.

  • robert

terrible week for the soaps and it’s not surprising. the creative is weak. Y&R’s new writing has been a disappointment. the show is boring and stale. who wants to watch saint Victor and a 9 year old play chess

  • Truth Police

Bad week for all the soaps but RESTLESS is on fire. Next week will show big gains. Sweeps should be good.

    • Kevin Little

I agree. I’m enjoying Y&R more than I have in about four or five years.

    • monzo

Where is the fire? I can’t even smell smoke!

  • Salem Spectator

Only 168,000 viewers separate Y&R and DOOL in 18-49, the lifeblood of soaps. Instead of wishing for a soap’s death, wish for the genre to live…THEY’RE ALL IN TROUBLE!

    • TruthSquad

Network tv is in trouble. Primetime is in trouble too.

  • sherwood

Y&R continues to bleed out audience. It’s down over a half-million viewers from last year and nearly 300,000 viewers from the week prior. The key demos are at all-time lows. The show is boring as paint drying and continues to focus on secondary characters. Young & Sussman’s vision is not connecting with today’s soap audience. Sony & CBS can’t be happy.

    • FoxyRoxyy

Y&R is terrible. Bad writing, bad production.

    • robert

Sally is too outdated. she’s still living in the 80’s. the show has gotten more boring since SSM took over. who wants to watch the Newman hour and kids drive storylines. their is no cast balance. about 90% of the cast has no storyline, and Victor has a saint makes me sick after all of the things he’s done. Dylan’s exit is terrible

    • monzo

I think the current old-fashioned writing was worth a try, but CBS should have known that all those female viewers who put Y&R on top 30 years ago are out of demo-age now. Maybe they thought that women under 50 remember how much they enjoyed Y&R during their childhood and teenage years and love that writing from those good old days, but obviously there aren’t a lot of younger women like that out there.

    • truth

When you read her first interview with tv guide (and the awful and biased and has been himself Michael Logan) to showcase her come back..you knew she will be outdated and a failure..nothing surprising here..zzzzz

      • monzo

By the way, how important is soap press, what do all of you think? Michael Logan loves everything, while Soap Opera Digest praises Y&R and B&B very much, GH is doing alright for them and DOOl gets trashed almost every week there (thumps down, you know what I mean?!). Are readers of Digest influcenced by those opinions?

        • truth

I disagree that Logan loves everything, actually he is totally biased, he has favorites and he talks about it like it is gospel truth and the viewers point of view..whereas it is just his lame opinion and tastes..pathetic. And for the most part his taste sucks and is outdated..

        • cab

Yet when they feature Days on it’s cover, sales of SOD go up.

      • robert

i could tell she was going to be bad for the show after reading that interview. she came off as arrogant, outdated, and not caring about the fans

        • truth

          totally.

      • James Michael

Within a week of her return, the show became a snooze fest. It’s like we returned to the mid 80’s or something. Charles Pratt’s writing was over the top but I was NEVER bored. Hilary’s actions over the years and Devon leaves her because she tripped Moriah and nice Grandpa Victor? Every time this show changes writers these sudden character actions are ridiculous. Ratings will fall for sure. I could sleep at night, not during Y&R.

  • ctshar

I didn’t watch GH or B&B either that week. On GH, the writing is terrible, the Tom story one of the all-time worst stories. I’m surprised the demos weren’t lower. B&B just doesn’t have enough stories, show is boring when the avants aren’t around. Hope both writing teams get some better stories soon.

    • monzo

Without commercials, opening credits and those endless flashbacks an episode of B&B includes just 15 fresh out of 30 total minutes. Those 15 minutes should be filled with action instead of repeating the same conversations over and over again.

      • ctshar

Hard to believe same show I was hooked on in February.

  • Salem Spectator

Sally Sussman may have been the wrong choice for Y&R, but anyone could be. Soaps are just dying. It’s rumored that Sheri Anderson is returning to DOOL as headwriter, but if true, that’s no guarantee of a ratings surge. No matter how good a show is or gets, the ratings just don’t always show it.

  • Salem Spectator

It looks like the “final four” will be the last soaps to ever appear on network daytime television. Maybe DVR viewing could become as important as TV viewing if FF wasn’t available.

  • keelyda

Days was all over social media, television and articles for the big possibility of being canceled to make way for Megyn Kelly’s show. I read lots of fan outrage/concern on other sites and petitions were started to “save” Days. I am kind of surprised at these low ratings. I thought more people would tune in to support it. I guess DOOL might be a lot worse-off than i had originally thought (fan base wise). I guess people got tired of all the promises and reboots that failed and the majority of new viewers are not into daytime soaps. At this point, I will stay positive and hope that it sticks around for another season.

  • TV&MovieBuff

I don’t why people are getting so excited and reading so much into these ratings. They were to be expected. The only way they would have stayed up is if a massive snow storm had hit and kept a huge part of the US home. Every time you have a big increase it is almost always followed by a drop. It evens things out with soaps. When folks are at home, they watch. When they aren’t they DVR or watch some other way.

I am actually glad to look to see that Y&R got close to 5 million on Monday & Tuesday with people back at work. B&B got over 4 million on Monday.

Yes they were down overall for the week but there are still some positives to take out of it. And the most positive thing for me is I am still thoroughly enjoying Y&R and for that is all that counts for me.

  • Ang

Well Dena Higley has been fired…again lol. She’s being replaced by Ron Carlivati and Sheri Anderson will be a consultant. Ryan Quan will be a creative consultant as well. You have another 6 months until you see Dena’s stories go away.

    • Salem Spectator

DOOL just came back from a break. They’re now five months ahead.

      • Ang

They’ve already finished filming June which means that July is likely written.

        • Salem Spectator

True, but scrapping is a possibility.

          • Ang

Then they would need to go dark again. They should be filming July right now. So unless Ron has a whole bunch of scripts ready they have to film what’s been scripted so far. It will probably be another September reboot at this rate. Third year in a row and 5 reboots in the last 6 years?

            MarDar – 2011
            Tomsell – 2012
            Griffley – 2015
            Higley – 2016
            Carlivati – 2017

There’s one common denominator in this whole mess and his name is Ken Corday.

          • Salem Spectator

            Yes, but he’s the owner.

          • Ang

Yes and sometimes owners step aside and let other people run the operations because they suck. There are some Sports comparisons that are comparable and it worked out very well for at least one team.

          • lulu

indeed : Ted Cordumb is really the biggest problem..haha

    • Truth Police

Good news. Hope this means renewal.

    • ByeBye

“Everything you own in the box to the left

In the closet that’s my stuff

Yes, if I bought it, please don’t touch

And keep talking that mess that’s fine

But could you walk and talk at the same time

And, it’s my name that’s on that jag

So come move your bags, let me call you a cab”

      • ByeBye

Above are just some lyrics when I heard Dena was leaving..

  • Salem Spectator

Many wanted Dena out. Many wanted Sheri in. Many have missed Ron at GH and asked for him for DOOL. Several people’s wishes came true! We’ll see what happens…

    • Truth Police

I think it is great news and also to me means that they are planning on renewing. Looking forward to watching. Maybe it will be a fit.,

    • RecyclingTrash

Ron was bounced from GH when ratings started to tank. We’ll see.

    • vivien

I loved Ron’s work on OLTL and GH – at FIRST. He brought back many beloved characters and gave GH that ’80s vibe again. He made the 50th anniversary a lot of fun. But he messed up, I believe, by continually bringing in his ‘pets’ from OLTL and trying to fit them into the canvas. Michael Easton is on his third (fourth if you count the vampire! lol) role in five years. He brought beloved GH characters back from the dead, but didn’t really have anything for them to do so he ended up killing them off again! He LOVES ‘camp’ and he can be really funny, so I am kinda looking forward to seeing what he does with DAYS .. it will be ‘different’, that’s for sure!

      • TruthSquad

Sometimes a writer does a great job in the beginning and gets bored. This will probably be a good thing for him and for DOOL. He has a fresh canvas and hopefully energy and enthusiasm.

      • Salem Spectator

And he was given the name, Cartoony. I’m OK with outlandish stories, but I hope there is a balance with grounded ones.

      • JayTN

Ron Carlivati seems to have good starts, but isn’t able to finish; often rehashing earlier – and usually more successful – storylines. In my opinion, Carlivati needs a strong EP to reign him in when he inevitable begins to go off the rails. I remember at OLTL when he started introducing gay characters like Fish & Kyle. However, by the time he was reigned in (reportedly by ABC), Carlivati seemed to have half the cast – including Dorian – gay or questioning.

While Higley’s ouster and Carlivati’s hiring seems to suggest NBC is more likely to renew (and may have made a head writer change a condition of renewal), Carlivati doesn’t really have a great track record. OLTL is gone (regardless of how people feel about the justification of its cancellation) and GH was plagued by cancellation rumors during his tenure there. Perhaps “Days” will be his third-time charm?

        • vivien

Oh I know, he did kinda go overboard with the gay stuff on GH too, offending even some gay people! Since he is gay himself, he thought it was okay to draw from folks he knows who binge-watch “Knots Landing” and “The Golden Girls”, but he kinda played them for laughs.

  • diego

Wow!!! I can’t believe RON is at Days now. I didn’t think it would happen. I hope he does for Days what he did for One LIFE !!!!

    • Ang

      I love your avatar. I can’t believe he’s gone

    • monzo

      Best soap news in months!

      • bonzo

I agree! I was wishing for this for the past year and a half. Some good news for 2017 finally!

    • Truth Police

Great news. Makes renewal seem more likely.

    • Lana

He got OLTL canceled so I take it you want DAYS canceled too

  • cab

Network officials have got to take these drops as a grain of sand. Drops are showing up all over their lineup. NBC is counting on Megan Kelly as a hero to rescue their 9:00am slot, but I fear she will bring disappointment to the network. Many people do no like her, and her only gain to fame is her conflict with Trump.

    • NastyWoman

I think ABC will try and do the same with Gretchen Carlson.

  • kalyer

Bravo to the people that spoke up against Dena’s work on Days through social media/other outlets and refused to watch! They are the ones that can be credited for this head writing change! We have a voice no matter what anyone tells you. The “haters” are the ones that bought change to this beloved soap.

  • DaysQueen

Ron Carlivati is openly gay. I hope he can add more gay/trans characters and write some good LGBT story lines for DOOL. We may even see the return of Will Horton since that is what the fans want to see!!!

    • Salem Spectator

I think they always intended to bring Will back regardless of who was writing. The combination of the recast Will and the character change was what made them do away with the character. They’re probably waiting for Chandler Massey.

      • TruthSquad

To me the re-cast sunk the character. Is Massey agreeing to come back?

        • Salem Spectator

Nothing concrete, but there have been rumors and recent twitter activity (followings). CM quit or was let go early because he wanted to finish college, but I don’t know if he did.

          • TruthSquad

I thought he was great. I hope he comes back.

    • TV&MovieBuff

Him and Frank Valentini both being at OLTL and GH didn’t guarantee good stories for the gay characters on there. The writing for the gay characters on GH was atrocious.

    • TruthSquad

I would like to see the return of Will Horton played by Chandler Massey. No offense to Guy Wilson, Massey was a tough act to follow and the character completely changed when they cast Wilson.

  • scott16475

Doesn’t surprise me. People have gone back to work and school after the holiday.

    • TruthSquad

Very true. Hence the reference to the holiday bump in the previous ratings report.

    • FoxyRoxyy

Yes, but look at those huge year to year losses, especially for Y&Boring. Last year, people went back to work & school, yet they still managed to get 583,000 more people watching. The quality of these shows gets worse each year.

      • Richie

Nothing is more boring than your repetitive weekly posts.

        • FoxyRoxyy

Please block me. That way you don’t have to see my weekly factual posts. You can’t take facts. Thank you.

  • J.Sample1991

What I difference a week makes. Last week GH was beating B&B in some demos, now they’ve fallen behind them again.

  • JayTN

I’m interested in seeing the numbers for “Days” from last week (week of Jan. 16) that are released today, and posted here in a few days. Last week was the first week that “Days” aired in its new noon timeslot in NYC. While a timeslot change in one market isn’t likely to make a big change in the ratings, NYC is the nation’s #1 market (followed by LA and Chicago), so a change there could have more of an impact as opposed to a move in the St. Louis market.

    • Salem Spectator

That is a scary thought, Jay. Do you know what the lead-in show is for DOOL in NYC? Also, was the lead-in show’s time changed too?

      • Ang

A show called “New York Live”. It’s a half hour lifestyle show.

      • goodlineup

CBS and ABC air local news when Days starts at Noon (12-1pm) on NBC . Y & R begins at 12:30 pm on CBS (12:30 – 1:30) . ABC has local news for the whole hour. Basically, the second half of Days competes with the first half of the Y & R (soap wise). BB airs at 1:30 pm on CBS and GH at 3 pm on ABC in NYC.

        • goodlineup

Also, I forgot to mention that Days used to air against the Chew on ABC at its old 1 pm time slot but no longer does.

  • Elle L

Interesting about Ron going to DOOL…they really don’t have anything to lose, so why not. And, that may be a better fit for Ron’s writing. My knowledge of Ron’s writing is from his last 18 months or so at GH. I thought, there, he had the ability to tell some good stories, but it definitely became “campy” at times…and GH fans don’t really respond to that. I think his type of storytelling may be a really good fit at DOOL. Overall by the time he was fired from GH, I do think he was made out to be the fall guy when really it was equally FrankV as well. Won’t it be interesting if he manages some solid increases in ratings…and DOOL takes over the #3 spot from GH? There is only about 300K separating them.

  • charlie bracken

wow all the shows took a hit that week, Y&R has been pretty good as of late.

  • Kelly

I’m trying to figure out how to get them off my DVR recordings. I stopped watching DOOL years ago. Corday has too much control there and really doesn’t get what viewers want to see. His focus has always been to give Rafe a frontburner storyline and it shows. Left YR when Miller left. JFP totally trashed that show and I fear it will be really hard to reel in old and new viewes with the new writer. I started watching again with the new writers because Sussman promised she would be writing character driven stories. That has not panned out. Hillary is just a witch. Nothing to root for there. Attempting to rehabilitate Billy at the expense of other characters really doesn’t work. I’m one where putting him with Phyllis really was the final nail in the coffin of character driven stories. They never belonged together on so many levels given their history. Now they bring Reed back, drop kicked him into a mess of a storyline without any development and it falls flat for me. I expected better.

GH is beyond a mess for me and has been for a long time. It remained a mess and got worse after RC left. Now I believe it is FV that brings on all these newbies with no development, ruins the vets and plays favorites with his OLTL characters. Freako was never meant to be a hero but time after time he is put into storylines he has no business in and ultimately ruins the story for me. The Jason return was a bust. No character development. The writers write recycled material from their stint on YR which failed there too. I’m just discouraged that nobody does anything about the state of these shows. Do they want to be unemployed? I just don’t get it.

The affair narrative was in bad taste but otherwise i don’t see how Billy and Phyllis ‘never belonged together on so many levels given their history’…shrug..actually these two actors work well together..they just should have been paired together once they were single..Moreover this version of Phyllis doesn’t work at all with Jack..he is really too old for her..some actors when aging can make it work with younger partners but they are very few..you have to be insanely charming and attractive for that..and while Bergman is allright he is not George Clooney..he is just not the type you can buy with youngers gals in a believable, sexy, lovable pairing..in my honest opinion. David Canary, Eric Braeden for a while, Michael Zaslow (but he was younger..anyway..rip to the great Zaz, dead too young) i could buy a young woman being attracted to their charisma, presence, charm..Bergman’s Jack..not so much..

I didn’t even mind that it was an affair. That’s what soaps are about – juicy dramatic stuff. Great chemistry is what I like to see on my screen. And they had it. In spades.

        • truth

To each its own, most of the affairs are trashy to me, even in fiction…I know it is a soap trope..but i am really not fan of it..moreover it is a so easy and cheap way to make ‘soapy’ drama..when you have no creativity : bam a ‘trashy affair’ is in order..pitiful..

          • padange

I don’t think it’s all that easy. I think it’s quite risky, especially on such a conservative show like Y&R, and it only works if it’s well written and executed. And the build-up to this one was great. I enjoyed it immensely. It wasn’t some kind of a cheap ONS.

      • Kelly

Their history speaks for itself. Besides Billy is Daniel’s age and frankly it was a very bad pairing given their history.

        • truth

Well, with this recast..it changes things..history maybe..but with Gina Tognoni as Phyllis this ‘history’ is not believable anymore..blame the recast as you want but Phyllis right now looks like Daniel’s sister..certainly not his mother..unless she got a child when she was 3 years old !! Thankfully Daniel is not onscreen anymore otherwise the Daniel/Phyllis scenes would be ridiculous..Otherwise the affair aside (trashy soap trope as far as i am concerned..even more when you want to make the characters rootable and they don’t even have a romantic history between them before that..) i don’t see how their history was so much an obstacle..

I really enjoyed GH under RC up until that last year. That last year it felt as if he were bored, disinterested, and in the end he completely lost his way.I hope after these last two years away, or however long it’s been, he feels re energized. The budget at Days is a tenth of what it is for GH so not sure he’ll be able to bring back long lost characters and tell crazy storylines like he did at GH but for Days fans I sure hope he can somehow manage to pull it off.

I know RC was working with ABC on a prime time pilot but not sure where they are on the process. My guess is nothing came of it or else he wouldn’t be working now with Sony and NBC.

    • jonboy

Totally agree. His GH was great….until they brought back the OLTL actors as new characters. For me thats when the show “jumped the shark.” Quickly lost interest and removed it from my DVR.

      • TV&MovieBuff

That was the start of it and the additions of Billy Miller, Maura West and Michelle Stafford which really pushed the focus on the 3 “new” OLTL characters with Michelle’s new character thrown in and the old Mob characters of Sonny, Jason, and Carly with Maura’s character thrown in. It just ate up the show in way too many over the top stories. It is one of those situations where even great actors aren’t enough to make you want to tune in because Michelle Stafford and Maura West remain 2 of my favorite actresses across any medium — but I just couldn’t get into the stories they were involved with at GH and tuned out.

Pre noms for the Emmys were released.Billy Flynn has been so amazing what a great actor he is.Ron might be good for Days unless it’s the same old recycled bring people back from the dead, doppelganger, bad mobster stuff.

    • Axed

Perhaps Ron was hired by Sony/Corday to show NBC that Days is willing to make big head writing changes in order to increase ratings, blamed the low ratings all on Dena and fired her before negotiations. Or NBC told Days if they wanted to renewal they had to get rid of Dena and hire Ron for the last year. I am your average soap fan and I do not know a lot about these head writers but since this writer (ron) has already written for daytime soaps and was let go i doubt he will be able to gain a significant amount of 18-49 year old viewers unless he changes things drastically and gives the diverse younger generation what they want to see. Days has had low rating for years no matter who was writing and i read they had numerous writing changes that last years. It is still a shame we have to wait until summer to see Ron’s work.

      • jesse

Higley’s writing wasn’t the only problem,Corday made the decision to replace/kill of characters, ejami left.Agree either scenario you mentioned could also be true.Yeah it’s a shame that Days can’t film like the other 3 soaps.

        • EJfan

I know we are always reading about actors who leave Days to pursue other things and then come back in a couple months when they are asked to but I truly think that at least James Scott chose to leave Days on his own.

          • lulu

Yeah he chose to leave on his own because he wanted to do other things (also other things than acting) but also because he was fed up with them trying to destroy his character every chance they got and trying to destroy his most popular pairing : Ejami every chance they got..and believe me many (majority) of his fans saw this and decided to stop watching once and for all !! If they had not once again tried to destroy, to taint his character, his pairing for his last year on this soap, we would have been a little more indulgent and we would have gave them the benefit of the doubt and tried to watch their freaking soap..But they did eveything to spite us after years and years of us trying to be supportive despite all the destructive writing for our favorite characters..therefore we just stopped watching their garbage of soap opera !

          • Ang

If they had allowed EJ and Sami to leave Salem together to raise their family, I would have legitimately given the show a chance after they left. That was my deal with the devil. But I forgot that Corday is even more evil and he made sure they killed him off. He wanted EJ dead, NBC not so much possibly.

I don’t blame James for quitting when he did. The show used and abused him for years. They were more respectful to Ali but in that last year they were awful to her as well. I hope all those script writers are fired when Carlivati comes over.

          • lulu

It is not so much Ej’s death/killed off (for his type of grey/villain/anti-hero character it can be a tragic end who make sense)..the real and final insult to many of us was all the disgusting storyline Ej and Sami and they fans suffered for THEIR LAST year on the canvas !! Ej was out of character, it was a total character assassination’s move and these tptb knew it was the last year on this show for these actors..and they wrote this bs after YEARS and years of us, the audience waiting patienly for worthy writing..So it is pretty clear with their cheap, no making any sense writing they really spat in our faces..therefore GAME OVER for them, enough is enough.

      • JayTN

If nothing else, Carlivati’s hiring allows Corday & Sony to go to NBC during upcoming renewal talks and give a vision for where the soap is going.

If NBC is looking to replace “Days” with Megyn Kelly’s new daytime talker (there are rumors that it may replace the 9am hour of “Today” instead), her Fox News contract has a six-month non-compete clause. That means she cannot appear on another network for six months after her Fox News contract is up. That contract was supposed to run thru June or July 2017. That means Kelly couldn’t legally appear on NBC until January or February 2018 at the earliest. However, depending on whether NBC bought out the remainder of Kelly’s contract – she is no longer appearing on Fox News – that six-month period may already be happening, allowing Kelly to appear on NBC as soon as this fall (when “Days” current contract ends).

        • EJfan

          Well said.

      • darryl

Ron brought the ratings up (for ABC Soaps) then they tanked again and he was fired. Facts.

        • Michael Taylor

TOUPS, I WANT THE RATINGS FROM JANUARY 16-20 NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • JBT

Enjoying Y&R and B&B. Looks like they are flirting with the idea of Billy and Lilly. If they became a supercouple, what would we call them? Lol.

    • Kelly

They were a couple when Billy first came back. I loved them together.
