GO GH!!!!!! GH is ROCKING! And dont forget Robin’s Return…hopefully we will be Number ONE in 18-49 soon! as we deserve! GO GH!

  • Nicole Green

    Go GH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Bex The Clown

Wow way to go GH took the #2 spot in 18-49 over B&B

    • Nikki Winton

Of course B&B sucks since the writers force on us a couple everyone hates BRILL because the actress want it ! B&B viewers are jumping ship towards GH and DOOL

      • Bexx

It sucks NOW as oppose to the last couple weeks when BB was gaining more viewers than any other show? I’m no fan of BB, but the idea that one couple suddenly caused the sheep to run over to a trash show like GH is absurd.

      • Harlee

Sorry, no they are not…you’re painting this horrible picture coming from “wishful thinking”…BB is fire right now, you might hate Brill but their is a huge base for these two, I’m just one of them. BB is the only soap that has truly climbed over the last 2 years compared to the remaining shows. BB is a big ole passion pit creating drama out of characters…this is by far a Bell soap & quality…maybe not your cup of tea, that’s OK, but BB is old fashion soap opera telling at its best right now. Not everyone likes the campy style of GH…I want more drama in my soap, with a sense of humor…aka…Caroline Spencer!

  • Oh my!

The problem with Y&R ratings is that this hour long show basically revolves around 4 characters too much: Adam, Chelsea, Dylan, and Avery. OMG already, they are in practically every episode, and one of them is in virtually every scene. Combine that with the fact that their stories are fairly boring to begin with. I don’t know why it has taken the producers of this show an entire year to realize that this combination is NOT WORKING!!!

    • Bexx

Well, with the announcement of the new writers, I’m worried it’s going to take some time for Y&R to rebound, and even worst they used to work for ABC. Time for CBS to step in and toss Jill out.

      • PatF

And no offense to ABC, but I also agree that YR can’t be turned into an ABC show quality wise when it pretty much was the gold standard for soaps for most of its run.
These writers have me worried. BIG TIME.

        • Harlee

I want my CBS soap style back…DRAMA! Not a recycled version of ABC, clone heads!

  • Bexx

Finally DOOL has a decent week, congrats to them.

    • Philip

I worry that Days being moved to 3 a.m. in Utah, over to CW in Las Vegas, and changing time slots in Philly and CT is going to hurt their ratings in coming weeks. Just read about those changes on the main boards here. Sad.

      • Bexx

Yeah, I saw that Mike posted about that on the other board, definitely not a good sign for the show. The cards are so stacked against the genre these days. What’s going on storylines wise, I mean are there any that would have fans excited at the moment? At least sweeps isn’t too far away, and that should at least give them another opportunity to turn things around.

    • TVAdvertiser

With a season average of 2.1 (households) and 1.0 (women 18-49 key demographic) DAYS must have had a good deal of “decent weeks”.

  • kevingm

Good news that DAYS and GH climbed this week. Bad news: When the highest rated soap in the 18-49 demo (Y&R) is only bringing in a 1.1, that’s not a good sign. As far as Y&R, I personally thought Jill Farren Phelps was outstanding when she was EP of my favorite soap of all time, SANTA BARBARA! Will she help or hinder Y&R??? Only time and ratings will tell and it’s not looking promising for her according to this weeks ratings. DAYS needs to pick up the pace of their storytelling, get Sami out of jail, give Hope a stoyline/new man and give us more scenes with Marlena and Kristen! GH is finally realizing that the three OLTL actors don’t bring in the viewers like the vets and the ratings are showing that. B&B seems to be the most stable soap at the moment, even though they fell this week.

    • adam riese

and what are the numbers of other daytime programs in the 18-49 demos??

  • JustDoIt

I am calling it now. GH’s ratings will not sustain. Now that Kelly Sullivan – one of the best actresses they had – is gone and they are pushing such shoddy couples and storylines, the ratings will go down, down, down. I can’t wait to see the ratings bottom out. RC being called ‘the savior of GH’ is the biggest lie in soap history.

    • Bex The Clown

Sounds like somebody is mad because GH did good numbers. The storylines are exciting and with Robin’s return coming and so much more the numbers wil continue. GH is number 2 in the demo that determines advertising dollars.

Sad to see Kelly Sullivan go but there are plenty of other great storylines to make the show.

  • PatF

Not a good week for CBS. I wonder what’ll happen once the Kay memorial and story wraps up.
I hope Jill is on notice!

  • Kayla

Y&R’s numbers are also down thanks to the Time Warner blackout in major markets
