As we previously reported, rumors are swirling that due to the current “Days or Our Lives” storyline in which Nick (Blake Berris) physically forced himself onto Gabi (Camila Banus) and subsequently found himself clocked with a rock and thrown into a river, Berris will be leaving the “Days” canvas. But is it true? Soap Opera Network caught up with the actor himself to get the scoop on what’s ahead for his alter ego, and guess what? Alison Sweeney (Sami), Lauren Koslow (Kate) and Banus also weighed in on the exciting story!

When Ted Corday and Betty Corday watched “Days of our Lives’” NBC debut on November 8, 1965, they couldn’t have known that the soap opera they created would garner so much success. During the east coast broadcast of NBC’s ” Days of our Lives” on Wednesday, November 27 fans will get a chance to watch the show while tweeting live with actress Lauren Koslow (Kate ), who wants tweeters to provide her with their best and most creative idea of what her character is texting to Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) during the episode. The lucky person whose idea is selected will win a follow from the actress on the social network.

As if tackling daytime soap operas and the Academy Awards wasn’t challenge enough for James Franco (ex-Franco, “General Hospital”), the actor is gearing up to next take on broadway as he’s signed on to make his debut in “Of Mice and Men” next year. Franco will portray George in the production, which is based on the John Steinbeck novel of the same name. The character is one half of two migrant workers looking for employment during the Great Depression. Actor Chris O’Dowd will portray Lennie, the other migrant worker.

Fans of “All My Children’s” Aiden Turner (Aidan Devane) would agree that he was pretty perfect onscreen, but his off screen perfection has now been shattered. According to TMZ, the Hertfordshire-born actor was arrested for felony domestic violence after he allegedly threw a remote control at his girlfriend’s face!

Investigation Discovery announced today that it has greenlit a third season of its hit series, “Deadly Affairs.” Hosted by Susan Lucci (“All My Children”), the series provides audiences with titillating tales of murder and mayhem after relationships begin to falter. The program was one of ID’s top five shows in the 3rd quarter of 2013 in Women 25-54, Women 18-49 and Persons 25-54. In P2+, “Affairs” reached over 9.7 million unique viewers. The new season will premiere in summer 2014.
