Brooklyn Rae Silzer, who plays Emma Drake on “General Hospital,” exits the soap, today, and admits she’s “very sad” to be leaving. Unfortunately, the child star became a casualty, when her TV dad Jason Thompson (Patrick Drake) opted to leave the soap and head over to “The Young and the Restless” to take over the role of Billy Abbott.
With reports that she has opted to leave NBC’s “Days of our Lives” leaking months before she last appears on screen, actress Kate Mansi has taken to social media to explain her decision for leaving the daytime drama series and promises there’s plenty of drama to see as her time as Abigail Deveraux comes to a close.
Actor Michael Weatherly (ex-Cooper Alden, “Loving”) will be departing “NCIS” at the end of this season, the actor and CBS confirmed today. Weatherly, who is only one of four original actors to have appeared in all of the show’s near 300 episodes to date, portrays the widely popular Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo on the series.
It’s taken years, but Scrubs fans are finally getting their wish, this week on “General Hospital.” Newly reunited Patrick (Jason Thompson) and Robin (Kimberly McCullough) are getting remarried, and this time they’re going to live happily ever after.

After months of rumors surrounding the possibility of a contract player telling producers of their soap they had no plans of renewing their contract when it came up for renewal, despite major plans by the show for their front-burner storyline, word has it that actress Kate Mansi is on her way out as Abigail Deveraux on NBC’s “Days of our Lives.”
Nearly a year after alleged network mandates reportedly forced the four remaining daytime soaps to trim some of the fat in their casts throughout 2015, word has it that at least one soap is about to make another round of “budget-dictated” cast cuts.
