WCVB, ABC’s Boston affiliate station, will return “General Hospital” to its 3:00 p.m. time slot beginning Monday, September 8, swapping spots with “The Jennifer Hudson Show.”

Production on Season 1 of “Beyond the Gates” is winding down as the soap opera tapes its 200th episode. As for Season 2, taping will commence in September with those episodes airing in 2026.

The vast majority of daytime broadcast either set or tied their season/series low in the key sales demos during the week of August 11-15, 2025.

“The Bold and the Beautiful” was preempted nationally on Monday, August 18. As a result, episodes are being pushed by a day.

After a seven-year absence, Hallmark Channel star Ryan Paevey is returning to “General Hospital,” though it’s not yet known if he’ll be playing Det. Nathan West again or appear as a new character.
