Winning two Emmy awards for his role as Morgan Corinthos on “General Hospital,” actor Bryan Craig is open to a return to Port Charles or even heading to Salem as a recast Javi Hernandez on “Days of our Lives.”
With Al Calderon cast as a series regular on “Brilliant Minds,” the actor is departing “Days of our Lives” as Javi Hernandez. The soap opera will recast the role.
“Days of our Lives” star Al Calderon has joined the cast of the NBC medical drama “Brilliant Minds,” but Javi Hernandez remains “alive and well in Salem,” relays a spokesperson for the soap opera.
The SAG-AFTRA National Board has approved the Net TV Code deal that will see wage gains (compounded increase of 9.8% over three years), require the use of intimacy coordinators, and the adoption of future AI terms.
“The future of ‘Days of our Lives’ has never been brighter,” says executive producer Ken Corday, following Peacock’s decision to renew the series for two additional seasons.
“Days of our Lives” has been renewed for two additional seasons at Peacock, the streaming service announced on Thursday. The deal will keep the soap on the air through Season 63 (2027-2028).
Ron Carlivati has exited “Beyond the Gates” as a breakdown writer. Also exiting the soap are writers Lynn Martin and Christopher Dunn; Jazmen Darnell Brown announces return to the writing team.
