On the Friday, October 30, 2026 episode of ‘Beyond the Gates’, Hayley’s apparent pregnancy was on many minds, Kial (Greg Vaughan) stripped his reputation for parts, and Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) drew a thick line in the sand.

Ghostbusters

At Nicole’s party for ChelseaKat, Chelsea (RhonniRose Mantilla) reasoned that Bill might forgive Hayley for the sake of his child, using Bill letting Dani off the hook for shooting up his wedding as an example. Anita (Tamara Tunie) guided everyone back to the reason for the celebration, and Madison (Kenjah) made a speech crediting all the Dupree ladies for Kat and Chelsea’s successes. Dani (Karla Mosley) ruffled feathers when she wanted to give the men of the family their due as well.

With the hospital acknowledging Hallowe’en, Ted (Keith D. Robinson) looked to 2027, hoping to transform his home with Shanice into a haunted house. Hearing that Hallowe’en was Nicole’s favorite holiday, Shanice (Ernestine Johnson) worried that Ted was trying to compete with Nicole, so Ted had to reassure her. Shanice was still nervous when Ted told Kial about Nicole’s penchant for costumes; Kial felt bad because he hadn’t planned to dress up for Nicole when seeing her later in the evening.

Superstition

As the party wound down, both Anita and Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix) wondered how they could keep Dani from involving herself in Bill’s latest drama. Dani didn’t appreciate being talked about like she wasn’t in the room and promised her mother and sister that she knew how lucky she was to be married to a man like Andre. Just then, Kial burst into the room, dressed as “a stripper pretending to be a doctor” – he busted several moves before he realized he wasn’t alone with Nicole. “You better work,” Anita smirked good-naturedly.

Kat (Colby Nixon) and Chelsea followed Madison to the hospital as she reported for her shift. Knowing that Hayley had used Garland staff to fake her last “pregnancy,” Kat wanted to ensure that Hayley wouldn’t pull something again. Shanice said that there would be no way for Hayley to interfere in any paternity test, since it would involve Bill’s DNA. Chelsea had no idea how she was supposed to treat a new brother or sister; Madison gently advised her that she could dictate the terms of that relationship, or choose not to have one with the child at all.

A Nightmare On My Street

Hayley (Marquita Goings) told Bill that she wouldn’t have been stupid enough get pregnant by cheating on him, not when he could have used that as grounds for divorce. Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett) was certain Hayley had slept with someone after their split, but Hayley insisted she couldn’t have tested positive for pregnancy that quickly. Bill demanded that Hayley take a paternity test; Hayley said it was too soon but again encouraged Bill to come to her OB/GYN appointment the next day.

After Hayley left Bill’s office, he angrily swiped his folders off his desk, then got physical with Randy (Maurice P. Kerry) at the casino, accusing him of knocking Hayley up. Randy laughed that Hayley was his cousin, and that the ex-Hamiltons had been so horny they’d had to be stopped from getting it on in Bill’s hospital bed.

Later, Joey (Jon Lindstrom) told Bill that Hayley was once again a risk – because she’d inevitably feel confident that Bill would want to protect her baby, there was little stopping her from spilling Martin’s secret. Bill replied that Hayley would be getting no help from him. Then, Vanessa (Lauren Buglioli) announced to Joey that her friendship with Randy was over, even with Randy being a tie to Doug.

Demons

Eva (Ambyr Michelle) was surprised when Izaiah (Lami) relayed how Kat had texted him, asking if Eva were pregnant. When she heard about Leslie’s “diaper cake,” Eva sighed that Leslie was probably trying to manifest her giving Leslie a grandchild and decided to confront her at Uptown. At the establishment, Leslie found out from Grayson (Jordi Vilasuso) that Ted had bought a house for Shanice at Fairmont Crest; Leslie growled that “Niecy” had better not move into the community before her “shouse” there was completed.

Hayley kept her appointment with Leslie, telling her she’d thought Bill would be overjoyed about having a baby. Leslie didn’t think Hayley should have been surprised. Soon, Eva arrived and got in Leslie’s face about Kat deducing from her cake that she was pregnant. Privately, Leslie confided to Eva that Hayley was with child, and Eva felt sorry for it, knowing what it was like to have an attempted murderer for a mother. Alone with Izaiah, Hayley flirted with him heavily, asking seductively if she was still desirable while pregnant.

Somebody’s Watching Me

Eva caught Hayley making moves on her man and led Izaiah out. Enraged, Leslie grabbed Hayley’s arm and commanded Hayley never to even have a lustful thought about Eva’s boyfriend again, because such behavior from her “bestie” would “bring out the beast in [her].” Once Leslie implied she would run Hayley over, poisoner Hayley cracked that Leslie would have to watch her drinks. Leslie swore to Hayley that she was “a thousand times more lethal” than Hayley could ever hope to be.

Naomi (Arielle Prepetit) informed Grayson that, thanks to his suggestion, she was looking into the finances of prison employees to see if anyone had been desperate enough to work for The Impaler. At the country club, Leslie nearly ran Anita down, then threatened to pull permission for The Articulettes to use Barbara’s voice if Anita gave her attitude about staying quiet during the recording sessions. When Anita called Leslie out for reverting to her old ways, Leslie apologized and said she would cooperate, as hearing Barbara would be the closest thing she had to a relationship with her mother.

Hellhound On My Tail

Hayley shrieked when she found a fuming Randy in her hotel room; Randy wanted the money Hayley kept promising him and complained that Bill had nearly beaten him up over her. Hayley waved Randy off, bragging that her plan to manipulate Bill into buying full custody of his child was working perfectly. Randy reminded Hayley that the idea had been his, to which Hayley disagreed. Hayley was positive that Bill would fall in love with the baby once he came to her appointment and heard its heartbeat.

Dani went to Bill’s office, admitting that she shouldn’t be getting herself involved. As Dani tried to prep him for her news, Bill said he was already aware of Hayley’s claim that she was pregnant. While Bill held he would never believe Hayley again, Dani reasoned that the child changed everything, as Bill would grow to love it. Bill had the opposite view, remembering how his father couldn’t stand him; he added that he wouldn’t be able to look at his new baby without thinking of Hayley trying to kill him. Therefore, Bill decided, he had no intention of raising the child.
